Brittish Canabis Laws

Post by craig bell »

Hi all im lloking for all brittish ppl whether ur scots engligh welsh or irish im looking to get as many ppl as i can to agree that canabis has been legal in the netherlands nowe for what 30-40 years. and basically its been a success with the tourism its brought in along with the red light districts. Now if if these 2 were to be legal in britain well 1 girls would be safer they could get morgages ect legit job these girls can earn a few pounds also the weed side of it would help bring more tourism to our shores and also u never hear peaople getting cahrged by the police for bieng stoned while fighting, shoplifting, housebreakins, assault, murder ect ect , cannabis is a soft drug and should be made more available on these shores. im looking 4 ppl to let me know how they feel on this matter for and against :D :D

I'd love to see the "toleration" policy introduced over here , but sadly I don't think it will be in my lifetime ( i'm 32 ).
To many ill-informed people in charge of making "our" choices for us :-(
Sending out the good vibes to those that need them right now :-)

Even if they let us have like 3 legal plants that would be superb,Or better still let us buy & fly from "official" headshops! just like they do with alcohol in off licences.

i protest for the legalization of cannabis here in the uk, more info just pm me.

Altho i do not see it coming the the near future. both labor and conservatives are very strongly apposed to any sort of legalization. our best bet is the EU legalizing then Britain would have to follow suit.

However your arguments for the legalization are very weak. But i do agree that the uk cannabis laws suck. My main reason for wanting legalization is freedom. the freedom to choose what i do in my own spare time without hurting anyone else. The freedom to toke.

I reckon legal or tolerated weed in the UK is a pipe dream which most of us will never see!

it had some proper movement about 10 years ago when it was dropped to class C and if that continued then maybe :?

It will never be legalized in the UK. Just won't... and y'all know it deep down anyway - typical of stoners to think it will be though...

We, the uk are about 5 yrs behind the USA culturally unfortunately, but in this instanace the more states that are tolorent the better. As for Drcronic i think he was just saying rather than clog up the thread, anyone intereted in protesting, pm him and he will give relevant websites etc.

I have to apologise here to you mate, really, I am sorry...

I totally misunderstood what you were saying, I just re-read the thread and realise I was indeed being "retarded" :D...

Actually, I wouldn't mind taking part in a protest - just so we can create awareness about marijuana and its medical benefits - yeah, I dont think it will ever be legalized here in the UK, but the creation of awareness does increase the general publics awareness for Cannabis, and may contribute to the relaxing of current UK laws regarding its use (not distribution), hopefully we may even see it re-downgraded to a calss C substance.

I'll end this post with a few quick words fer ya all here. I'm gonna PM him for more info, but think it would be better if it was just posted up here so anyone can see at a glance the date, time and location for the protest ot take place...

Peace to all! Tricky_D
