Redeye, this sounds like the perfect senario !

I'm getting to be about the same except without the TVR... does a Ford Focus (estate) 1.6LX count ? ... I've discovered that my wife has no idea if I've had a toke... I can hit a sneaky pipe and then I can buzz around feeling good on the inside and looking "normal" on the outside... 8)

Its a '98 TVR Chimaera 450. 4.6 litre V8 (277.78 cu in), Starmist Green with tan leather seats and green leather dash.

By the book they run about 289 PS (285.0 bhp) (212.5 kW) / 407.0 Nm (300 lbft) (41.5 kgm)

The Sagaris (new russian one) is a little out of my league at the moment but damn nice if a bit savage. Maybe one day.

Me too: /sorry for the off topic posting\

i agree with mazdog...cars we dont have here seem to be a little cooler then the ones we got...i was like that forever with the STi...hated the fact that the japanese market got every special model...and we got crap...but as soon as they said they were bringing it stateside, i was in line...and it was worth the wait...

TVRs look like jags...are they really like that in person?
it is what it is supposed to be...

Mines much smaller...weighs just 1040Kg. Its a tubular space frame with a GRP body.

Mines the same as this one but green:

STi's are SICK!! i will own one someday, just too far outta my range at the moment. I was building a bad ass 240SX (Silvia) but i just called it quits on that project, not enough time or money. Gonna pay off some debts over the next couple years and then get into something with balls...my 2.0 Golf isn't gonna cut it for long.

MAZ- heh...i do love my STi...or stye as i like to call her...man...i would love to live in arizona just for the car factor...no salt on the roads = no rust on the car...new england weather just kills the bodies of cars...so we really lack alot of the sweet rides that other areas, like AZ, probably have...we dont see many classics or collector cars up here...i would love a 67 Camaro, but it aint worth it here...and the STi makes sense with the all wheel drive and such...so at least i can justify that...but it still looks like it was in a rally race 6/7 days a week...i would have to wash it every day to keep it presentable...and that aint happening...my fiance drives a sweet 02 wrx bug-eye...probably faster then mine...sounds meaner too...but it aint the stye...we are a subie family...heh...

seen the WRX STi S204?...japan only...but SICK...man, i want one of those...

RED- what are the specs on the TVR?...i still think it looks like a jag.

there is nothing like smoking a fat joint, riding around in a sweet ride, going 120mph (is that like 260kmh or something?), listening to Metallica's dyer's eve...
it is what it is supposed to be...

the 204 is crazy......they always gotta have something they are keepin on the island...bastards. I'm really lookin forward to seeing what this new Skyline GTR that is coming over is gonna be like.

there is almost too much car stuff out here...but i ain't complainin. my dad is big into old classics (his current proj is a 47 Studbaker pickup, hes a nut) and such so its always been in my blood.

This is my car. Not as exciting as a TVR. Don't get many sunny days here in the UK to enjoy it. Currently waiting for spring to arrive.

That's exactly what it is except here it's called a Civic CRX 1.6 VTi made specifically for the British market.
