we had what they called a CRX here for awhile...now that i think about it, i think the CRX went away when the del sol came in. We americans just can't accept a big change in bodystyle with the same name, marketing
Our Cars

Due to living on a Mountain, complete with narrow dirt road, our Subaru Outback is the car of necessity due to its all wheel drive, and ability to travel down a road with a foot of new snow,it gets around 28 MPG ...our Saturn gets over 40 MPG and is the car for longer trips .(Like the five hour drive we'll take in early June over the Appalachians to get to Dulles Airport for our trip to AMS/NL !!! )
Y'know, some of those old looking bikes are brand new and cost 500 euro!
It's actually the best design for city use...Yeah ok, the other 85% have been in the city since world war 2 and I think some have been locked to the same bridge for even longer!
I've got a mountain bike, but then, I've also got a very strong lock and chain.
Mazda
Have a Mazda Miata 10th. Anniversery Edition. Great car for driving the twisties up north when I'm allowed to drive it. ( have to go three months w/no driving every time I have a grand mal seizure. Car is 1999 and has less than 65,000 miles on it.
Old School and Proud of It.
So whats the deal with these Smart-cars ...anyone ever drive one ? Last year upon arrival at Schipol there was this very cool roadster looking Smart Car in the arrival area...I've found their website (the UK one)... are they any good ,or just eye candy ? ...Of course they're not to be seen in the USA ... One of the constrasts between NL and USA is the amount of sensible vehicles to be found parked along any Gracht ...if you walk the streets of New York City for example you'll see so many more of these Huge SUVs or 8 cylinder pick-up trucks...and you can't help but wonder why city folk need such things ...
