Alright, opinions?

Firstly, Hearts are in it!! Therefore, I think its awsome
Secondly, I think its awsome
Everything has been improved. Im just starting to find my touch, my football is slowly becoming more cohesive and sharper.
Through balls are deadly, but a little harder to pull off IMO.
Keepers are still suspect, spilling low shots alot, but they do react quicker.
Over all, I like it. The new Tactic screens are a good edition. Much more options in the Master league too.

What do you think?

I was a die hard PES fan but the next gen ones have all been rubbish so this year I've given FIFA a go and it's better than any of the recent PES's, on PES you can start at the back and run all the way through the opposition and score (I used to do it with the goalie on the odd occasion) where as you'll be lucky to beat 2 players on FIFA, a big thing for me is online and PES simply never worked due to it being a complete lag fest where as we have 10 v 10 games on FIFA with little to no lag, sorry but FIFA is simply the better game this year and by all accounts it was better last year as well.

Online play means nowt to me personally. I havn't ever played any game online. Shit, I havn't even been in the Playstation Store  If I cant see the look on yer face when I notch up a fifth, theres no point in playing.

I can understant some folks switching sides and playing Fifa. I think the problem was, PES never really kicked on, it just tweaked things. Where as Fifa has overhauled thier whole footballing experience, in an attempt to get as close to the PES feel as possible. If you are the Type of person who expects everything to change/improve every year, then yes, PES could be seen as a let down.
But if, like me, you think the whole feel of a PES game, is how a football games should feel, then there was never really a choice to make.

Have you played the newest one yet Boner? I think it may surprise you a little. One pointer though, change the Game difficulty, Normal is like playing it on easy, gotta be on Top Player, or Professional at the very least.

only 3 votes in the poll, I guess people just aint willing to give the new one a try.

Maybe Ill start a FIFA thread

i'll give pro evo a rent as im a member of gamefly(like netflix for video games). online play for me is a big thing. i dont get online a ton like some people but i like it. when playing against the cpu you always know what to expect and how challenging its going to be. I like online play because i never know what im going to get skill wise..i could get someones whos complete crap to someone with 200 wins and lose by 5 goals. i'll give most games a shot unless they have gotten completely shitty reviews..or if its an rpg..dont really touch those. iv never really thought pes was awful..i just thought it wasn't as good as fifa. Like 5 years ago pes was the obvious better game of the two franchises. ome thing i always had a problem with is the lack of licenses..i feel if im going to drop $50 or $60 on a game it should atleast have all the licenses. i was thrilled to see fifa finally got the license for the dutch national team this year. ...although some of the players are rated a bit low..robben rated like 82 on holland and 86 on bayern...weird. but yea i'll give it a rent. maybe even play you online twich.
