DNB!
became a big part of my young life when I transitioned from the percussion to string bass 8)
it's everyday music for you folks in the UK, others have to go out of their way to find it!

Two words ' Logical Progression ' I love it when having a smoke. The first and second album are the bollocks. I remember entering the logical progression arena at the Essential festival in brighton in 97 the place was stinking of green. So I built a phat one keeping a eye out for the security turns out they were all smoking aswell and I ended up sharing a joint with one of them was a great atmosphere and the bass from the sound system rattled my rib cage as I got high as a kite. Was fucking A1 night out :D

I still follow it. DnB is brain massage music :) I like the intelligent, industrial and tribal stuff... check out http://www.fre4knc.com his mixes are all free and they bloody good too.

Another guy which caught my attention recently was this Russian DnB producer named Mendelayev, and the tune that became the soundtrack to my Autumn/Winter 2010 is named "Soul of Earth" - by Mendelayev... what a tune :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqSk9RpJ6bA < here's the youtube link :)

Thank you guys :)

A friend of mine goes by the name of BREED INTEL and he makes some def beats. Yep - he's all DNB and Dubstep. I got some of his tunes (he's not on any record label... yet) on MP3, let me get some permission to share his stuff (eek) and I'll see what I can do about getting them hosted on rapidshare or something... trust me, his stuff is perfect for stoners like us...

Hope this works out ;)

Moving Shadow? OMG... I had the original 12" dub of deep blues "helicopter tune" and the Moving Shadow 10" remixes of the same track - yep both remixes, 1 and 2... those really were the golden days of DnB...

(The lil hairs on the back of my neck are tingling - could it be that the E i did all those years ago are still in my system? I feel a rush :D)

Went to Cheeky Monday last Monday at the Winston, definitely was pretty cool but the place was very small and i'll be quite honest it was more of a "cheeky sausage fest" then a cheeky monday!
