ok so posted 2 packages on thursday with 6-7g in each one, dvd case, smelly bag, jiffy bag and printed address labels with 3 priority europa stamps on them, whats the chances?

lol yeah I split it between 2 packages, sitting here with nary fuck all and am realllllly kicking myself about not carrying home as belfast customs was a total ghost town like it usually is, this is the 1st trip I never carried back as the wife and I shared a bag and I didnt fancy pautting my wife through that. I am hoping I will bear fruit from monday on, could be later in the week though, I was paranoid about the amount of stamps I put on thinking it wasn't enough but reading through the thread I see guys had results with 6-7g and 2 stamps so that eased that fear.

Let me add my 2 euro cents...

Some friends of mine once stuck some black hash up their ass, in johnnies of course. I had told them this was the only fullproof method as Customs needs some serious probable cause before detaining Joe Public (looking dodgy or nervous is not enough) to make him shit in a loo and inspect it, or even to send him for xrays (or is it ct scan?). I've never heard of it happen for someone coming back from Amsterdam, the negative publicity risk even if 1 in 10 were caught with some measly amount of hash is simply not worth it for them.

Not long ago I came into UK on one of those evening flights. You know the ones where there are sod all people in the baggage area and usually no people (or maybe one) in Customs. In 30+ flights into UK I never once been pulled and 25+ times nobody even there.

This time there was two people, not oldies but late 20s/early 30s. They asked me to step aside and took to the inspection room. They asked me polite and direct questions. I answered polite and directly too. I even said I lived there when they asked my reason for travelling (is this MORE or LESS likely to be carrying, I have no idea).

They did the narcotic swab of my bag I think and put in their machine. Surprisingly nothing turned up, I thought copious smoke might do something on these sensitive machines. They also put my suitcase through a x-ray machine. My suitcase was not just clothes, I carry all sorts of crap and gadgets which you never know they might want to look through.

Anyway that was it, they let me go. Basically, I answered in a way that was like "look I have nothing to hide, I'm not going to be an arse, I will cooperate but you know as well as I do this is a waste of your time".

I was not carrying anything, but it struck me after I could easily have carried anything! It was clearly my attitude that got them to the point where they were not going to do anything else. They want an easy time too. Only if you give them some probable cause will they rifle your bags or order a strip search.

I have met many people over the years who just walk back with personal in their pockets all the time! And if you recall, the penalty for getting busted is just a small fine if under 10g (apparently). I even had a friend who raised his arms for a search and just had the weed in his hand! This sort of thing happens quite a lot from what I have heard, people getting away with this move, generally speaking on a global basis, not just talking about weed out of Amsterdam.

As for mailing back, I never done this myself either. I have friends who just throw the weed in a jiffy without caring for the smell lol!

I would be curious to know what happens if your weed gets seized multiple times in UK. Do they threaten to search your house? Can they do it? If they do and find nothing, then what? Do they give up on you?

Happy to report that package 1 of 2 arrived today with a lovely 5g of trans himilaya, 1g of rifman noor and 1g of twissler. heres hoping for no2 tomorrow, its gonna be a good week or 2.
