abcdabcd you must get a bike if you spend time in Holland, its that final bit that really makes you feel slighly less of a tourist and much more a part of the scene. The fact that you ask makes me think that you like biking so just do it as they used to say on that fizzy drink ad. A couple of good pannier bags and you're set for the weekly supermarket run., and what about the weekends, freedom for free, once you buy the bike that is. The Cops will stop you if you are visibly intoxicated obviously, if only for your own and other folks safety.
Sorry to ramble on but I love Holland , I love Biking and quite enjoy my Herb and whenever I can I put the three together. Roll on next spring.
