Hi guys
Does anyone out there have one of these new PSP things and connects to this site using it.
I've heard that as long as you can establish a Wi-Fi connection then the actual surfing doesn't cost you anything.
How easy is it to type things (is it like a mobile phone where you have to press buttons a certain number of times to get certain letters or numbers)
I'd be grateful for any help

I did have a PSP but I sold it before they came out in the uk(PSP is only £100 in japan, sold mine for £300!).
You don't really want to use it as a web browser as it can be very slow loading pages and using the analogue nub to navigate pages can be a right nightmare, its the sort of thing you'll get used to after a while it just isn't intuitive at all imo.
free net access is possible if you're in range of an un-encrpyted wi-fi connection, this would mean one of your neighbours has wi-fi but hasn't secured the network, you could then use their connection to surf the net if you so wish.

Thanks for the info. I'm under contract to AOL at the moment and that doesn't end till December this year.
Was planning ahead for the end of the contract, hoping that I could save some money so I'm hoping that hardware/software improvements will be made with the PSP by that time.
Not sure if there are any other devices out there at the moment that could do the same job with a better connection and better interface (such as a keyboard of some sort)
Any further suggestions from anyone would once again be gratefully received.

I want to surf the net whether I'm at home or out and about. I heard that the PSP offered you this and you didn't pay anything for surfing, but since you mentioned that the PSP connection was slow and the controls were awkward, I was looking for something better with the same sort of Wi-Fi internet connectionspace doubt wrote:Do you want to be able to surf the net when you're out and about?
