Any reviews about Crown Plaza hotel, city center

Staying below from Nov 17th Nov 19th. Do they allow joint as well as pure tobacco smoking! The thing with me is that as soon as I have a joint, it just automatically triggers an strong urge to smoke tobacco cigarettes automatically. Can anyone relate to this ..lol ? Any suggestions for the hotel or the rest of Dam in regards to my problem would be great . Thanks

They used to have smoking rooms so just ask for one of those, I smoked weed there without any trouble but that was a few years back.

any recommendations for good coffee shops, RLD windows around the hotel, which are definitely worth more than a peek from outside.

Resin coffeeshop is right opposite, Haarlemmerstraat is just up the road, can't help with the RLD sorry.

I too have tooted my own face off in this hotel! So rare to find somewhere with the room for a pool in amsterdam (it is tiny). They have had a big referb since I stayed there, so don't know how much has changed...

Exit the main doors and head to your left, please walk right past the little Grasshopper c/s and do go in Homegrown fantasy, a little further along.

Great location.

If you are interested in the red lights the main drag is where the pretty girls are. Always amazed me how sexy some of the girls are, not the image I had in my head of a prostitute. For an authentic experience you must check out the tiny red light alleys...
