I was listening to the NORML daily audio stash... stash.norml.org the podcast for the National organization for the reform of Marijuana laws
(i'd recommend you join and contribute if you're in the states... or not! help us out on our quest for legalization and normalization of marijuana)
There was a panel at the Drug Policy Alliance's Internation Drug policy reform Conference speaking about the Marijuana cultural movement.
While listening to the NORML executive director speak, he mentioned that the Minister of Justice from the netherlands spoke with Norml and other groups about the coffeeshops here in the netherlands...
Stating that no coffeeshop is being moved or forced to be closed, but everything is re-zoning. And that no license is being revoked...
thought It was an interesting viewpoint made from a higher up over here.
If you listen to the Podcast it's from Friday Nov. 13th and is about a little over half way into the discussion. An interesting bit of news... and i'd recommend you listen to the rest of it too... good stuff
peace
