Im sure the people that arrive on the monday could maybe visit the shops before the 420 meet ? thats what i was planning to do anywayLemming wrote:So Dampkring has dropped out and Green Place is now in along with, possibly, Grey Area. That means that the meet at Dampkring for the webcam wave is no longer also a Toke and Vote. I guess it still makes sense to meet there though.
I suggest we try to squeeze Green Place and, possibly, Grey Area into Monday as we'll be in the south on Sunday. There will be a few more of us in town by Monday too, although those actually arriving on Monday may not be in a position to make it to meets in the daytime.
That does highlight a general problem, with so many people doing Monday to Friday rather than the pre-420 weekend there's not going to be very many judges available for this cup.
Anyone have any thoughts on any of this?
And also im cool if you need to move the time of the T&T at Basjoe ! so we can fit everything in ! no problems
EPIC not long now peeps

Update on the Coffeeshop Poll.....angry pirate and newbinho were the latest to cast their vote this week, with a couple of new C.S.'s added to the list. 1st was Anyday from angry pirate and Rokerij from newbinho. Good additions to the poll, thanks.
The top 5 spots retained their positions with Mellow Yellow finishing out the last spot, still tied for 6th, but not with Grey Area, it fell to 7th, but with Dampkring. That's right, Dampkring is back in the top 6.....for now anyway. With a couple of weeks to go anything could happen.....we'll see.

Voting criteria?
Hey apologies if this is a dense question but what criteria are we using to cast our votes?
Have checked a few threads and seen the voting form but unsure what I am voting for-for instance is it just the weed menu i.e. consistent quality/selection/price cos Grey Area has always been great like that for me but I rarely hang there, or is it all things combined like on the voting form?
Also I presume we are voting for shops based on their current performance rather than good service over the years-for example Rick's Cafe has served me very well but not so much now after splitting in two (I don't really go in the coffeeshop), same with Barney's way beyond inflation price rises of recent years.
Finally do all the eventual top six shops have to be visited by 5pm on the 20th by voters and is the idea that we buy from them all? It's just that I only get in on the 20th so will have to make a careful plan of attack to visit them all!
Thanks in advance x
