Not voting is about as stupid as not bathing.
IMO your "pot-head" friends who don't vote are contributing to prohibition.
But not Global warming though thank goodness :)

What a long strange trip it is.

Just want to say that change comes from the bottom up.

When the People lead The leaders will follow

One election at a time one vote at a time. In the US we have been working for change for decades, and we are gaining ground, but we have not won yet.

Register, Vote, and Express your beliefs to your electiced officals, they are there to represent you, the voter.

Thanks for letting a yank jump in, but not voting in this country is a big problem, for change a strong third would go a long way in any milti party goverment IMO

Edit - Found a Lib Dem group discussing this very issue too

Edit again - must point out that these links are not official lib dem links, just some lib dem members.

I don't think it could happen Paulli. If Clegg went with the Toris, he would loose alot of support at the grassroots level and within the party. The Tori's are very right, the Lib Dems very left. I don't think they can ever see eye to eye on issues.

For me at least, if the Lib Dems done this i would leave the party and never vote for them until they stopped. I know alot of other people who would join me. If you look at the Lib Dem policies vs. the Tori ones, its difficult to see where they will agree. Also, The Tori's may fuck it up, im pretty sure they would. Given past preformances, if this happens and the Lib Dem's align themselves with them. It could be a very bad move. I would be surprised if the Lib Dem's done this. They would loose alot of support.
