I have 26 days till I get to sign 'Het Boek'. Twenty-six extremely slow passing days. Well, it used to be 80 days, so I think I can wait. ;)
I agree Stygian. They also sell super sized pre-rolled cones that you can find online that are similar in size to the blunt cone, check em out.

Love that book.

I was so stoned :) when I signed I forgot to date it!

Needless to say, the Nes has some fine products.
Burnt crisp outside...well done on the inside.

Full list of shops visited: de Kuil, Rick’s, Sensi, Leidseplein (Leiden), Betty Boop, Blues Brothers, Greenhouse Namaste, Rookies, Dolphins, Nes, Stix (Korte Koningsstraat), Paradox, Old Church, Barney’s Lounge, Amnesia, Lost in Amsterdam.

The new Barney’s Lounge is nice and so is Stix but the biggest surprise was Lost, a lovely, comfortable and spacious smoker’s bar.

As noted earlier, Paradox deserves a special mention for its food and service. One guy was dealing with food, drinks, weed, everything and still smiling.

Nes is, of course, the best shop in town but I’m whispering here because I remember when Barney’s BB was the best shop. Talking of which, I’m sure I spotted Derry through the haze in de Kuil and in Amnesia.

Best weeds that I remember were Neville’s Haze from de Kuil and Special Sativa from Paradox.

Hello to the Channels people who declared this forum to be “That Other Website” and me as “the guy who drew the map with the pink background”

Many thanks to AzLaker, BluMing, Bluelaru, Blueberry, DC, Old Hippie Dave, Lafe, Zunkii and anyone I’ve forgotten. Apologies for being crap with names – I was stoned, you know how it is :D

Good read lemming, I'm glad you had a good time and you certainly got about. The Lost place looked damn cool, those seats look like beds man  ... It will be on my list for next visit, maybe a nice lunchtime indica, a feed, a drink and I'de be in heaven there !! :D

I'm also gutted that I was not there for 4:20... to be honest I never even knew about it when I booked for mid March... When do we start booking for 4:20:07

I must have walked passed Lost In Amsterdam 100 times before and never gone it - the hookah and cushions in the window have always looked inviting; especially in summer with the window wide open and some hippy looking guys bellowing smoke out of the hubbly-bubbly :)

Wish I had made more of an effort to stick my head through the door now, oh well goes on the to-do list next time behind *cough*the nes*cough*

Nevilles Haze never seems to fail either!!

 Good one Styg and a couple of good photos as well. Kinda makes me wonder why the faces were disguised on other photos that I've seen from the trip. :?

I suppose it's up to the individuals concerned if they want their faces to be displayed on the old world wide web. Suppose some people might not be too comfortable with that idea.

Hello all,

This is doody...........nice to meet you

I will be leaving in 2 weeks, long time contributing ACD member, would love to sign "The Book." Do we just go into Nes and ask for it? What a special and fun pilgrimage this will be. Hope to meet anyone who will be there may 30th-June 7th. Go to the travel plans forum, lets get as many together as possible.
Have a great day!!!

Hey Doody, get intouch with forum member "DC" who works at Nes Cafe and should be your first point of contact regarding "The Book".

I'm yet to visit and make my mark, but thats my suggestion.

At least I can say that I can look forward to signing 'the book' at the end of july...bet there are a load of names by then, if not full (anyone know roughly how many names are going to be entered by the time it is complete??)

No one can tell ya that, bro. Everyone who signs has different sized handwriting, and their messages are of differing lengths. I'm sure there will be pages left for you to sign by the time you get there.
