A couple more pics of last week.
As might be expected, we were all very stoned and untogether (well, I was anyway

). Nevertheless, we did all manage to get to de Kuil/420 on Thursday afternoon. The large table at the back (where the pool table used to be) was free so we commandeered it.
The Volcano, complete with monster bag, was pressed into service to consume some killer weed. At one point a half-filled bag was abandoned on the table – the Volcano equivalent of leaving a joint in the ashtray. [As an aside, the cleanest, best-maintained Volcano I found was in Paradox.]
As we were becoming as one with the table, Bluelaru turned up and brought me back into the room by distributing beads. This was a brilliant and well-timed gesture to wake us up, provide something to wear and to fiddle with – the perfect toy for a stoned person. I’ve still got my beads as a souvenir.
As the afternoon proceeded, we were gradually surrounded by an army of “Channels” people adorned with t-shirts and name badges displaying their corporate logo. It has to be said that this was a very sensible and practical move but it did strike me as rather funny at the time.
By twenty past four the Volcano, pipes of crystals and succession of joints had taken their toll and we were all pretty subdued. A feeble cheer went up and I slumped back on to the table again, still grinning inanely.
De Kuil wasn’t too crowded. The Channels gang filled the rear section but there weren’t too many other punters in the place. Still, as planned, at some point we adjourned to Nes via a food stop.
The fresh air brought me round sufficiently to remember to get my camera out. I pointed it vaguely down the table in Nes (because I couldn’t see anything on the screen) and snapped away a few shots.
Unfortunately I didn’t get everyone but there were lots of other cameras about so I’m sure more will appear here and elsewhere later. L-R: DC, AzLaker, half of Kim and Judy, Lafe and BluMing (I've disguised their faces though).
On Friday, Old Hippy Dave held a party at Amnesia. There was food, including some lovely falafels and cheese, and some serious consumption going on. The Volcano was in action and this mega-joint with half an acre of Amsterdam’s finest seemed to last forever
More pictures to come …
