Got a trip booked for the start of next year
Gonna be staying at the hotel hortus, anybody got any experiences of this place and more importantly what coffee shops are near by!

Didn't stay at the Horus but I have stayed in the area. De Overkant Hortus, Greenhouse Namaste and Bluebird are all pretty close, 5 -7 mins walk. Het Ballonnetje is not far either, 7 - 10 mins away from the Centrum. Also Basjoe is another possiblity, maybe a 15 - 20 minute walk.

I have stayed there and the first thing that comes to mind is the steep stairs but you get them everywhere.
It is quality place to stay very smoker friendly and a good cheep place.
You are within a spliffs walk within everything you could want to do.
There are none of the most popular CS very close to you but there are a couple on your doorstep but cann't remember the name its on the corner if thats any help

I have been reading many post on many sites with people complaining about how low grade quality the WEED is in the Dam is this TRUE?
ALso I have read that their is better and cheaper WEED in Haarlem.

Is their a link to a place that shows who has the best weed at the moment. WOuld be great to bybass the shwag and go for the goods.
ALso is it ok to touch and or break open buds before purchasing

Go back up a couple of posts and click the Coffeeshop Menus link in my signature.
Some shops will let you pick up buds, but definitely not break them apart until after you purchase them.
