What's a good price for JFK(NYC USA) to Amsterdam in April?

Post by SGawain235 »

Good morning,

I'm flying from JFK(New York City, USA) to Amsterdam in mid April and I'm trying to figure out if I should snatch up the price I'm getting now or wait. Right now I'm getting a cost of $764USD. Is that pretty much the best I'm going to get or does the price tend to go down somewhat?

Did you think you'd get rid of me that easily?

You can get the tickets cheaper than $764, there are some for like $675 on priceline. I don't know if it will go down anymore but it's up to you.

I flew JFK-AMS this past April for $900, mind you I ordered the tickets in mid-February.

Looked yesterday on http://www.mobissimo.com/search_airfare.php as I'm looking to make a return for April '10 and found non stop flights at $803 the lowest so I'd say you already found yourself a good deal.
Before anything, get the daily dose of choke.....

April is high season, what with the tulips at Keukenhof and all.

There is 4:20 on 4/20 at 420 Cafe mid month

Right at the end of April is Queensday.

When you get firm dates get them to me and I'll post you on Whos In Town.

Enjoy

I paid $760 RT from Portland, OR leaving March 9 and returning March 24 so even though it's April you should be able to do better than that.

I bought my ticket directly from Aer Lingus. They often have specials out of JFK. You may have to stop over in Dublin though. Peace.
