hey humans.

i have a question in regards to how or if coffee shops round or calculate their bud prices.
for example, if i see a particularly nice bud which weighs 1.4, is the cost calculated ($x1.4), or will they rip it down to a gram, or add to the next gram up?

i don't think i am making sense, but i hope someone catches my drift

...if i come down a bit, i will try and re-type my question in a way that actually makes sense.

oh wait, i guess what i mean to ask is does everything have to be per gram? (i guess thats what i mean, sorta)

yeh i get what your saying...basically is it set at only 1 and 2 grams etc....or if you saw a nice bud and you wanted it, would they work out the price depending on the weight...

to be honest i haven't ever asked personally, but ive read a few reports when people have done it before on numerous occasion ..your just have to ask when you get there...

certain shops like tweede/dampkring have the prices set into their scales/till so if you pick a big bud that you like it will automatically come up with the price for that bud down to the nearest cent

Which will be calculated as you said in yer origional post Price per G x Weight. Rounded up to the nearest 10 cent probably cos we hate 5 cent coins and lower.

perfect.
personally i think it would be crazy not to use this kind of system.
i love buying by the look of the bud, not the weight
