As I have already said, the meet up on the 20th at 420 was a blast and a great opportunity to put faces to names both from this and the channels sight. As the rest of my stay went, I kept bumping into people who we had met on day 1. Being my first solo trip, I hung around with AZ, Blooming & Lafe on the Friday.
We started out at Rookies at about midday and went west in search of shops we hadn’t been to before. We found a couple, one was Sofland 2 (I think and I can’t remember the other 2). One shop we went to (sorry cant remember the name), was very nice, the dealer seemed a bit of a jerk at first asking us all for ID and then saying how he was doing us a favour letting us in and we weren’t to stay long etc. In spite of that it turned out to be a nice shop with a good pool table and a view over the canal. By now it was late afternoon and Blooming had some issues with hotel rooms to sort out, we agreed to meet at 420 at 7.00pm to make our way over to Amnesia for the vapo party, but it was too packed so we moved on to Nes, where we hung out and played pool before I took Blooming and AZ for a RLD tour. AZ headed for the hills at about 10.30, and Blooming & I enjoyed some dessert from the pastry shop, before she went home at around 11.30, I went back to 420 for a night cap or 2, then crashed.
Sunday morning, I had a bit of shopping to do then met AZ and Blooming at 420, then off to Nes, from there I was going to go to Stones to watch the Spurs vs Arsenal match, but luckily DC put it on at Nes, so I was able to watch it in more peaceful surroundings, straight after the game, I had a flight to catch, so said my hasty goodbyes and bolted for Schipol.
All in all a great trip, I must admit to being apprehensive about it from the start, it was my first time solo, but I was fortunate to meet up with AZ, Blooming, Lemming, Lafe, infact most of the guys were solo, it was a great trip,
