images in my posts

ok experts... I've tried to insert images to my posts but each time I have failed. By using the IMG button above (like quoting) it all seems easy but when I submit my message the image is not there and the web address of my image is displayed instead...?

help is needed.

Yo Rez

I believe what you have to do is upload your images into an image hosting website, such as www.photobucket.com the click IMG at the top of the post box then copy and paste the url of the image into message body between the IMG brackets

IE

[/img]URL goes HERE[img]

I think what you need todo mate is....

Instead of copy the link from the browser bar, right click the image and copy the address from the properties box then repeat the IMG steps

those are not accurate URLs for whatever pics you are trying to share.
the url should end in .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, or some other pic file format.

the

tag is always last, the / basically means "end"

JW is on to something with his last post, i think the main prob is you don't have the correct URL for the actual image.

Many thanks Maz and JW... the image was a scaled down version of the original, once I clicked on "see full size image" on my webshots page I brought up the image on it's own page and thus I copied that url from the address bar.
