Where do the Dutch eat breakfast?

Restaurants and takeaways.

It's on the menu, but it's kind of hard to see...each means something. For example, smothered means with onions, covered means with cheese, chunked means with ham, etc. Pretty sure the nomenclature is just a Waffle House thing. If you went somewhere else and ordered that way they'd think you're daft.

Mmmm...pictures.
I love Waffle House. There aren't any within hundreds of miles of me, but whenever I'm near one I go out of my way to stop.

I only eat at Dennys or IHop if there's no other choice. I'd much rather go to Cracker Barrel or better yet, www.countrypancakehouse.net/menu.htm (really, you HAVE to look!) - they are 15 minutes from me and have a couple hundred different kinds of pancakes and waffles, as well as more egg omelets than you can think of. Portion sizes are just rediculous...9 eggs in an omelet, and the pancakes are as large as stop signs.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly?

That country pancake house has an impressive menu. Is it worth a detour? We'll be visiting Clearwater and now I'm thinking of getting over there for my breakfast! Looks great! You guys are so lucky - we have nothing like that over here in England. If I lived in the US I would always be at IHOP, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel .. god I'm starving now. :)

I do need to make a note of a couple of places for breakfast in Dam though.. Woah this year is gonna be cool. Gonna see Rammstein in Berlin in May, Amsterdam in June and Florida Sept/Oct. :D

If you're going to be in that part of Florida, you might want to try http://www.munchies420cafe.com/

The pancake house is worth a detour. I've only been to the one in Florida once, but live right near their other location in NJ.
