The one on Nieuwmarkt seems to be the closest but any others? Or are there cheaper supermarkets than the Albert Heijn in the vicinity of the Hotel Vijaya area?
Jodenbreestraat 21, 1011 NH, Amsterdam

Just 2-3mins walk down the street from Bluebird on the same side of the street.

Anyone know if any supermarkets in Ams' sell those sealed packets of pasta that you just add hot water to? I need some inexpensive ways to eat heartily ;)

What's also good to make in your hotel/hostel room with a travel kettle??

Albert Heijns are on pretty much every tram stop. It's hard not to find one.

They do great chocolate!
