Was walking past this place and thought WTF i'll take a look. The name puts me off for a starter. BUT i was pleasntly surprised upon entering. Its a nice clean c/shop with an alright menu. Picked up some charras here. very nice smoke. Drinks were reasonably priced too. mellow jazz type music was playing in there. Will go here again.

I agree, I too was pleasantly surprised. IMO, most of the best shops (gear-wise) are not so close to the train station, that area being for picking off the day-trippers. But, this shop had some very good blueberry ice hash as well as some decent Red Leb. Overall, a good vibe, not crowded.
If you don't have a lot of time to wander away from the station, this is a good place to consider (unless you want a brew, in which case you are at the 420 cafe).
Their gear is sold as 1 g pre-packaged, not weighed upon order.

Can someone tell if they still have "red libanon exclusive" and how it is?

I love this little coffeeshop- the weed is'nt bad (a bit hit and miss sometimes)- I had some Khushage, Betty's Haze and some Sage n' Sour from there recently, and all were pretty good.
The outdoor seating is great, and I lapped up the sun whilst there- I love having a joint out in the open!
Plus, it's not far from a host of other fine shops- Grey Area is 5 minutes, as is Amnesia, Resin, and others.
De Kuil (420) is closer still!

walked into betty boop my first time in the Dam (jan 2001), dont remember many specifics but i do remember i DID NOT like betty boop. the staff was rude to us and asked several times for ID when it was clear we were of age, and the shop is small. also the weed was nothing to write home about, IMO.

Visited in Sept '07. Buds are pre-packed tourist style... u cant be sure what it weighs or what poor quality strain you'll get given. Girl serving was either clueless, a rip off merchant or just couldn't be arsed generally. Humored at how lame this place was I left without purchase.

we called in here just to see what mechandise they sold coz my missus is a betty boop nut. well the answer is "i got a lighter" .
i asked to look at his menu and ordered a round of drinks, when he came back i was still looking at the menu, there was nothing i fancied so i slid the menu back to him........the look i got of him was like i had walked into his home on christmass day and pissed on his kids, it never whent down to well but it was ok in there.

On this trip I did not buy any weed from here, but called in a few times a day for a milkshake (very nice for 3e try them!) and to sit on the outdoor terrace seating watching the world go by smoking amsterdams finest.
I always find the staff here to be very friendly, never any pressure to buy their smoke and the outside seating is awesome for people watching situated between a couple of bars/restaurants it is very surreal to be able to sit and smoke a spliff in the open while people have a bite to eat and a drink and police passing by with a friendly smile. This is what Amsterdams all about and why I keep returning!

One of my favourite shops in the dam, basically because of the seating area outside. Nothing better on a hot sunny day that to sit back and enjoy a nice burn and watch the world go by.
