guns/war is terrifying as it is..i think for me it would be worse on weed/hash. fireworks/weed on the other hand is a great although probably unsafe combo.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

But we've gotta stay 'til the job is done.

What's that I here you ask, What job? Well, it's bin laden and that. Or is it the women's lack of rights. Or the heroin trade. Must be something like that.

Anybody remember Exxon wining and dining the Taleban. This must have been before they treated women so badly because Exxon are a lovely fluffy oil company.

Afghan war aint about oil « dont think youll find a drop there!
its more about Osama getting screwed by the american gouverment
cause regan gouverment was founding the taliban back during the Russian war.once PAPA Bush came in hes gouverment stop giving money to Osama ppl and by this time the bush Famely was/is in det to Osama for some other Bull shit..cause the bush famely all they own was/is from HIM
so...pay back is a bitch (Bitch=9/11) Now the russian are founding them by buying the heroin and reselling it in america + im sure American gouverment bringing some in america to resell on the streets!

Some theories are that first world governments want control of the heroin production and the possibility of oil exploration in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and piping it through Afghanistan.

No, I didn't say it was.
Natural gas on the other hand....... See linky.

Osama is merely a scapegoat, no more. As you say there are many financial and personal ties between the bin ladens, Bush and his father's cronies.

If it is about taking control of the heroin trade then it is incredibly short-sighted as there is a 5 year stockpile in afghanistan/pakistan. Also, the easiest way to take control of the heroin trade is to globally implement 'shooting galleries' for addicts. Job done.

Free the people from the oppression they suffer, leaving them to enjoy the normal life they are fully entitled to.

Ah, regime change. Illegal under international law and, likely not to be the real reason as to why we are there.

War costs an immense amount of money. Regime change (for the benefit of the people) is not a good money earner.

If regime change were really the issue, surely there are tens of other countries more deserving of our attention?
