New Year ????????

Been to Amsterdam a dozen or so times , however I have never been at New Year.
So this year I'm thinking of heading out with the girlfriend.
Now I know this trip will be a completely different vibe than normal.
I'm interested to hear from you who have done New Year in Amsterdam.
How was it ,top tips ,do coffeeshops open new years day , any info is more than welcome.

i was also thinking about going out for new year either tht or cannabis cup not sure yet when i decide i will let you now meet up for a smoke ??

Been once before, and it was overly packed with locals and tourists.

The Fire works were going off every were, and i remeber having to dodge a few in my stoned state.

Hectic but an experience

I have been a couple of times at new year, and my god it is fun!! Best new years I've had in fact. Agree that it is terribly busy though and often hard to even find a seat in the more popular coffeeshops. It is all worth it though for the fireworks / firecrackers / random fires in the street lmao! Seriously crazy and scary at times (not uncommon for fireworks to be going horizontal rather than vertical) but bloody ace fun. I also plan to get out there again this year, New years just aint the same if it aint stoned / trippin out yer nut in the dam!
