I'm in Amsterdam at the moment and having great difficulty locating completely free Wi-Fi spots. I'll let you know if I come across any.

There is also a normal Coffee place where you get ON the Tram at the cuypstraat. Small place but they have free wifi and very good coffee. Also i think you can get it in Old Amsterdam but its from the bar next door (Unsecured).

Nes has free Wi-Fi. Will be going back later this evening to check it out and speed wise, etc. I'll try and check the others listed here when I have time. Using pubs internet terminals at the moment.

Yes, Nes have one of my favourite beers Leffe on draught, plus you can smoke and the internet is 12444kbps download and 798kbps upload speed, damn good! You get the Wi-Fi password from the bar guy, btw.
