Good cast in that flick, Ed Norton, Susan Sarandon, Richard Dreyfuss.
Anyone know if that bird Lucy DeVito is Munchkin man Dan's daughter?

The Holy Mountain by Alejandro Jodorowsky

Umm...wow.......just....WOW. If you haven't seen this movie yet you absolutely HAVE to find a copy. You can get it from Netflix if you have an account.

Here's a link the movie:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071615/

This has to be one of the most insanely strange, trippy, surreal, and ridiculous movies I've EVER seen...srsly. The director is extremely in to mysticism and symbolic imagery so needless to say this movie is over-the-top with strange scenes and music.

Also, the director actually gave some of the actors mushrooms during one of the more disturbing scenes that was filmed. After I read that it definitely made sense as a lot of the acting was just........WEIRD!

It's been a long time since I've been so impressed and captivated by a movie. It's not GOOD mind you...but it's an excellent representation of what it set out to be.

It's also pretty offensive and there's tons of nudity...which is rarely erotic, just to let you know.

Wanna talk about trippy? You should see "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead." Hard to find, but worth watching. Steve Buscemi, Christopher Walken, Christopher Lloyd, William Forsythe.

I watched a movie last night called Triangle - really weird & fucked up but in a good way, I can only imagine what sort of tricks my mind would of played on me if I had watched it stoned.

No US DVD's will only work in A/Dam if you use a multi region DVD player as US is Region 1 and EU is region 2 or something like that

Thanks toker - our b&B has a dvd player - wasn't sure if our dvd would work -- i guess I can just bring one or two - don't take up much room anyways :) Seems silly to have 2 kinds of DVD players.. why do they do that???
