No US DVD's will only work in A/Dam if you use a multi region DVD player as US is Region 1 and EU is region 2 or something like that
Thanks toker - our b&B has a dvd player - wasn't sure if our dvd would work -- i guess I can just bring one or two - don't take up much room anyways :) Seems silly to have 2 kinds of DVD players.. why do they do that???
Theres 3 different regions for DVD's; US,EU and Asia ..i guess its to stop folks buying cheap dvd's from another region

Just saw DayWatch last night and Night Watch a couple of months ago,now gotta watch 'em both again...both excellent films but totally confusing...Loved the way the Subtitles flew around the screen in NW to reflect emotions, shame the subs were "normal"in DW...the bad news i that Twilight (or Dusk)Watch isn't being filmed at present, with no news of when or if its gonna be made...
