It isn't that favourable now, there was a time when we got $2 for every £1 now it's about $1.50 but if you're spending 100's possibly a thousand+ an extra $10 isn't no big thing, if this catches on every country will follow suit.
Many, many countries already do, it is called an airport departure tax and it can be up to $50 in some carrib. islands.
