Last weekend i was at rokerij and bought...

2 gram Amnesia Haze (8€/g) which was ok for the price 7.5/10
1 gram Rokerij Special AMG (12€/g) - lovely taste, similar to the mexican haze taste i think and a very strong head high. unfortunately i only have 1 gram left 10/10

The Kalimex was out in every shop it is a cross between the kali mist and mexican haze. sounds really interesting for me. anybody had it? both, the kali mist and the mexican haze are imho one of the tastiest strains.

Love this shop nice staff bud dude has allways been great. The gear never disapoints nice prices, got gx13 think its called lol blew me mind,the best spot is out front great on a warm sunyday, its true they do have these comical little seats and low tables that if ya not skinny are ya gonna have fun trying to sit ya stoned ass on them not comfy at all lol. That said theres a sofa type thing that runs down the whole wall thats cool to chill on
Though part of a chain dont be put off great shop with out a wiff off tourist trap.

indeed! most of the shops they have a rather nice, decent gear for a decent price too! usually one of my first stops!!

Grabbed one gram of the Rokerik AMG special at Rokerij 1 on my way to the Van Gogh Musuem. Budtender tried to upsell me a nugget that was 1.8, wasn't aggressive about it but I swiftly shut him down and stood firm with my gram order. Was a nice hazey smoke, smelled like SSH somewhat. Here's a pic a snapped

Normally just buy hash there but there lemon skunk was awsome about a year or so ago,KD.

DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat......DO NOT GO HERE. fair enough they have a decent menu...but during my most recent trip (April 10th) the budtender literally tried to up-sell every single customer that came in to make a purchase... the queue was pretty big..4 or 5 people in front of me.. saw the first guy ask for a gram of the white widow...so the BT pulls out this fucking huge bud and drops it on his scales "is 2.6 okay for ya man?"...now the guy purchasing seemed a little taken back but he agreed on the purchase... this same process was repeated with each customer in front of me...anytime someone asked this budtender for a single gram he would immediately grab a massive nugget and drop it on the scales..knowing full well himself that its NO WHERE NEAR THE WEIGHT OF A GRAM... So it came to my turn.... asked him politely for a gram of AMG, and waited to see his next move... sure enough he picks out this massive bud and proceeds to put it on his scales..."its 2.2 gram is that cool for you ya?"... now I was pretty pissed off at this stage..I had seen him rip off each customer in front of me..so I made sure not to suffer a similar fate..I aggressively responded "No its not fucking cool with me man...I have been watching you for the last 4 transactions and I know exactly what your game is"...he quickly apologises saying "oh usually people prefer big buds bla bla bla"... Now he knew everyone else in the line had heard my accusations..which I made sure of...So I just walked off leaving him there redfaced with a queue of people to deal with seriously I will never go here again...if I ask for a gram it means I want a GRAM not...2.2...not 1.6...a GRAM!

I've got no problem with an upsell. Just say no thanks. No worries.

I'm curious as to which Rokerij you were in...When in The Dam,i spend most evenings in the Rokerij off Leidseplein...top place for chilling out and when i ask for 5 gms of their excellent Nepalese Hashish,he never tries to upsell me...i wish he fuckin' would

I'm quite aware that there is more then one Rokerij??? (thanks for pointing that one out...I too own a map...... ) The fact that this incident happened has put me off going to ANY of there coffeeshops...... I'd rather spend my money in honest places.....I'm pretty sure you have a hatred for all things in the Hunter's group don't you....?
Anyway for those wondering ..this incident occurred in Rokerij II..

Well I have a big problem with it...especially when he tries it with every single customer that visited the shop..

So Geoff , if you went in today and specifically asked him for 0NE gram of weed....then he takes some buds out and puts them on the scales saying "oh is 2.2 okay for you"... as if the BT is unable to estimate a gram of weed by eye..it's his profession..of course he knows what a gram SHOULD and SHOULD'NT look like...then you say "No man I asked for a gram".. he then breaks off a little piece of bud and says "okay 1.7gram...?"
this process gets repeated over and over until you get your gram...would you honestly be happy with this service???
I don't know about you guys but there is no way I'd be impressed with this..I'd much rather go elsewhere that has honest budtenders who are willing to be very thorough in helping you select a strain.
Just a piece of my mind..

This IS the coffeeshops reviews section after all, and people are entitled to hear both the positives and negatives about certain coffeeshops.

i bought 2 weeks ago in rokerij leidseplein some jack herer 8/g thought was fair for the price.

love this place....really cool budtender.....cant upsell me enuff as i woulda bought the lot if i could
beautiful up-lifting laughing budahh and the diesel was both the perfect toke with the perfect aroma filling the air
around me......cant wait to visit again this november 17th

Glad to hear diesel is back there, on my last visit in march there were no diesel strains at all, and I rate their sour diesel. What type did they have?

Like this chain of shops, always friendly service, and even had a few smokes before with the budtenders there. I have noticed more recently though that they try to upsell everything, I don't find this a huge problem, if it's a really nice bud I'll take it and if not I can always decline
