What do you recommend getting for the daytime if I'm going on a trip somewhere? Got told to get some Laughing Buddah from Barneys for a good chuckle and a nice high where you're not incapable of moving!

Where are the best places to kick back and relax guys? You must all have your favourites!

How not to get hit by a bike

this document may be found in the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite for first-time visitors to amsterdam

imho reading this document is the very most important preparation you can do to ensure your own safety in amsterdam traffic, because being hit by a bicycle could ruin your day ...

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive, and thanks

have a great trip ...

Thanks for that advice mate, very helpful and found the guide very funny at times.

We have a similar setup around here with the bike lanes and coloured pavements and things so I should be ok. Ours is used about once a day though haha.

Will be out there in 24 hours, cant wait!!

something from the dampkring 7.5 euro range. theres white russian, bubblegum, white choco theres laughing budda at dampkring under 7 euros, for me barneys is over priced for what you get, northen lights is a tasty bugger maybe central coffeeshop good deals there. always talk to the bud dealer and tell him what sort of high you want. 420 de kruil is the most chilled coffeeshop. dont under estimate how dangerous the bikes are when stoned or even straight ive nearly been killed about a 1000 times by bikes not tho mention cars and trams

Heard great things about Dampkring guess that will be my first destination. Which places should I really avoid? Don't really want the overly commercial places with overpriced crap bud. Hear so much about the good places but would also like to know where you would never step a foot into again!

A couple of friends that went to 'Dam said to go to Resin for a chillout as it's nice and comfy and has a trippy jungle wallpaper and swings?

Thanks for the advice mate you have been a big help. That was the general vibe I had got from around the forum, already got Bulldogs/Grasshoppers on my blacklist page haha.

Paradise was on my list to visit, sure I saw a positive comment about it on here (maybe not) but judging by that I think I'll avoid it!

Thanks again mate!

Sounds good mate I will try and find it on the Blackberry on the day. Hopefully see some people from here and learn a trick or two haha.

Final question guys, where should I get some food? Got the New York bagel place. I remember someone saying that there's somewhere that does amazing fryups, anyone know?
