How do?

Post by IAMTHEEGGMAN »

Hello everyone!

After lurking on this site on and off for the past 8 years (it's only really just before I'm off to Holland), I've decided to take the plunge and sign up.

My next trip to The Netherlands will be april 8th - april 12th. I'm staying in Amsterdam for the duration, but I'm really coming over for this http://www.recordplanet.nl/ , but I'll definitely be sampling some of Amsterdams finest!

Anyway, there you have it and no doubt you'll see me pop up on here from time to time.

Cheers.

Cheers guys.

I'm really looking forward to the fair, I already know that I haven't got anywhere near the amount that I could spend there!

I am a fan of The Beatles, but not a massive one. Having said that, 'The White Album' is probably my favourite album of all time. I'm a (semi) professional DJ/promoter. I play funk, psych, soul, rockabilly, mod, freakbeat, garage, R & B, jump blues, punk, etc. The Bealtes are probably one of the most 'mainstream' bands that I really like.

I'm also one half of an outfit called Lambhuna. You can out see what we're all about, and listen to a little taste of us at http://www.myspace.com/lambhunaandfriends

There's nothing like shameless self promotion is there?! :D

Does anybody know of any coffee shops, bars, music venues that I'd probably be interested in? I'm come across a rockabilly/rock & roll bar, The Cruise Inn, that I'm probably going to check out. I'm also off to Melkweg on the saturday night to see The Trashmen. Anymore help would be much appreciated!

Cheers fellas.

SLF are amazing! I do like a bit of punk. I go through phases of buying nothing but. Found a mint copy of 'Inflammable Material' found about £2 at a folk festival of all places last year! Definitely one the best albums of that genre I reckon.

Cheers fellas.

I'm really looking forward to my trip, it's my first time back in just over 4 years, and it's also my very first trip overseas all on my own. If anybody's in town over those days and fancied meeting up, I'd be much obliged.

Cheers.

First of all, store this site in yer Favourites http://www.csfroghollow.nl/ .
Thats how to fnd out who is in Town when you are. ( also the home of the coffeshop menu site  )

Then just set up a Toke and Talk, and hope someone shows up. Worst case scenario, you spend an hour,in the shop of your choice, getting ripped. Best case scenario, Loads of folk turn up, and you end up getting ripped.

There is no downside 8)

You have been posted on the April Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=45455

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
