Welcome to the forum.
You have been posted on the May Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.
How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.
Enjoy

Welcome on board nirh216!
FlyByNite's recommendations should be made mandatory! Even a seasoned visitor to Amsterdam can get some valuable wisdom from S G Collins...
My top tips;
1) Get an umbrella or carry/wear a rainproof coat. Even in summer! The weather can change very quickly and being so close to the sea, it can be quite windy at times. Brrr...
2) Get a good map or even better, print off the ACD map linked at the top of the page.
(2a) Ignore the map and just explore your way around - it's far more fun that way!)
3) Don't take pictures of the girls in the Red Light District - unless you like swimming in the canals! (Oh, and the 'girls' with the blue lights in the windows usually aren't girls!
)
4) If you're not sure about the potency or effect of a particular weed, ask the budtender - most places are very welcoming and will advise you on the right thing for your first time...
5) Febo is your friend! Especially at 2am with chronic munchies...
6) Read the forums, use the search function on here and you'll find pretty much any topic you can think of has already been discussed.
7) Relax, have a good time, and expect all your plans you've carefully made to just vanish within the first few hours!
Have a good time, buddy!
