I bought some Kandy Kush (2.2g for 24e) on the advice of the really nice budtender, but, believe it or not I haven't tried it yet, because I'm having this infatuation with the Zooltjes hash from Club Media at the moment. I also asked about a strain called KD that was on his menu, and he went into a long explanation of how normally the names of the strains have something to do with the characteristics of the weed, but in this case he didn't know why it was called KD. He was really apologetic for not being able to tell me more. He must have thought that I was a real connaisseur or something, which I'm not, and when I told him I was only interested because my initials are KD, we had a good laugh. He said it was a racy sativa, which I wasn't in the mood for at the time, but I bought half a gram (can't remember the price) because of the name of the strain. Once again, I haven't really tried it yet.
The thing that endeared me the most is that after I bought my gear, I was about to order something to drink and he told me he was closing in fifteen minutes. 8 pm on a Saturday night! I thought that was really laid back. So be warned, it is not a late night place.
True. Definitely more of a daytime shop. It is a pretty quiet residential street after all.

Found this gem last summer, an amazing afternoon chill out spot...The staff are always smiling, and they sell top quality weed & hash.
Recommendations: Kandy Kush & the Turkish hash - oh and of course the cake

Probably my favourite place to relax and smoke. Didn't have many strains on the menu but the cakes and toasties were amazing.

never been here myself on my trips over in amsterdam but it sounds like a really nice place, seen some of the older menu's and the selections always looks good, i like the 5 euro offering they've got too - good idea for trying various strains an hashes without breaking the bank. back in the city next week so going to make sure to make my way over here, look forward to trying somewhere new

Checked this place out last week after reading the many recommendations for it on here. I have to say I thought this was amongst the very best CS I went it. Certainly in the top 3 IMO.

Bought 1.5g of Turkish hash and 0.8g bag of Finger hash for 12 euro each, and was very pleased with both of them. The Turkish was great for a wake and bake first thing (followed by visit back to bed straight after!). However, the finger hash was the stand out smoke for me. I thought it was about the best hash I smoked on my whole trip, and I tried 9 or 10 different types of hash from a variety of shops. I thought it was even better than the very expensive ice-lator I bought elsewhere. The finger hash was the nicest tasting hash, with a great stoning effect as well. Highy recommended. And the Turkish was lovely as well of courser.

The budtender recommended the finger hash specifically and steered me away from some much cheaper Lebanese hash which he openly admitted was of only mediocre quality. I particularly liked the fact that he didn't bullshit me to sell cheaper quality products. He was also by far the friendliest budtender I've ever come across in Amsterdam - which was a refreshing change from some of the other miserable buggers you come across over there.

Friendly service, chilled atmosphere, with local clientele and regular buy and fly's. Definitely my kind of place. Will certainly go back next time I'm in the Dam.

I'm an early bird. And I looove Amsterdam. Being so, every time I'm there I get up early as 7am and heading to my early morning CS smoke, and usually going back to the hotel only after the last CS is closed at 1am that night.
After sleeping severel times in the Jordan, right across the Paradox, I've been getting to know this place as the ever-closed CS in the neighborhood (it always opened late at the morning). Only at my last visit 3 weeks ago, I decided finally to go at noon and find out what all the fuzz is about.
This is by far - one of the BEST places in the city. To smoke, to chill and to eat. After knowing this place I feel like all my 12 years of CS experience was missing this place long time ago.

Everything I bought and smoked there every visit since then, was just GREAT - a.haze, ice, kandy kush. They even had my favorite bong type.. :D
Do a favor for yourself and order the shake, and the chocolate chip cookie, oh.. And the soup, got to try the amazing soup.. I even forgot its a CS for a second there while eating..

a MUST VISIT coffeeshop ! Mos def in the top 3 from now on !!
