I liked the redone paradox, it was in need of a revamp and it looks good for it. As it was Easter Saturday when I was in town everywhere was extremely busy, paradox being no exception. It was not the usual clients but was full of groups of tourists mainly americans, there was not a table free.

I looked at the familiar menu, unfortunatly the lebanse was off so I have still not tried any, the same goes for the finger hash. The extra tall guy was working and i was served quickly. I ordered two €5 deals, one of the Turkish 0.6 grams and one of the afghan 0.3. I was advised to keep the afghan in my wallet not my pocket as it would become too sticky to handle, I replied 'I will just smoke it quickly so don't worry' and we laughed. As there were no tables I just left and headed for the hotel.

As promised the afghan was the next joint I smoked, whilst I took an early evening pre T and T stroll around the red light district. The hash had been a very sticky, but not difficult to roll up into a couple of thin strips. It was smokey but smooth, smelling spicie but tasting sweet. The high was strong but buzzy. This is not the commercial afghan that you see advertised around town for next to nothing, this is the real deal, actually I guess its a fairly expensive smoke but a good one.

The Turkish was of its usual high standard, as hard as nails, giving my grinder a real work out. I smoked my two joints of this just with rolling tobbaco but there is no way you can taste the baccy over the Turkish. A strong high that kept me going for a few hours.

Good hash again from the paradox, maybe try and get some morning chill time here next time I visit.

Was in here everyday during my recent trip (22/4 to 25/4). The re-dec has given the place a real lift and made it feel more moden and fresh.
Was made to feel at home and was able to just sit back enjoy the smokes and soak up the great atmosphere of a tourist friendly "local" Coffeeshop.
The Finger Hash & Kandy Kush were the outstanding smokes of my trip hitting the spot exactly as I wanted.
I know some people aren't a fan of pre weighed baggies, but the 5/e (Finger Hash 12/e) deals mean't that i was able to try a nice selection of different smokes. So they work really well for me. :D
The Space Cake 6/e Kept me high as a kite whilst bumbling round the Keukenhof (Tulip fields).
Their cookies are soooo good as well!!
10/10 this coffeeshop gets better with each trip.
Keep up the great work Ludo. :D

P.S
If you're in Amsterdam and it's on the menu you need to try the Finger Hash. Amazing

I'm not sure I'm totally a fan of the redecoration. I don't hate it.... not really like they've done something massively dramatic after all, but it feels a touch unfinished to me now.

Still one of my favourite places.

thought the weed herb left something to be desired, so was glad they offered small deals :) the fruit shake ws great and so was the enviroment, i can't comment on the cake as i don't eat cake(cookies for me) but the girlfriend said the cake was ok but she didn't like the taste of the hash in it, she thought it was dirty hash.

my experience with finger hash wasn't that good, it was strong as fuck but taste wasn't that nice, really harsh didn't like it. maybe just a bad batch. there is better hash in the city for that price imo

Really? Wow, I think you had a bad batch mate. Honestly, I am much more ''hashier'' then ''weeder'', and I tried many many hashes last time...

Finger Hash was the very very best for me, but Rootang from Anyday, Zooltjes from Club Media and Twizzla from Green Place were also great choices. Now I must go to Betty Boop and Bushdoctor to know their ices, etc. Also the Jelly Hash in Haarlem. Well, thats also a matter of opinion and tastes and we can have different opinions though.
p.s. - I am your fan Colino, always ready carefully all your reviews, aprecciate!

It's under the special section of the menu. It's just called '100% sativa'
