Question of the day: Monday 3/29

Post by Newbie 2 dah Dubbie »

I know I'm early with this but wanted to post it before I forgot..hehehe

Is this a good idea or bad idea?

My husband and I were thinking of getting tatoos in Dam.. neither of us has had one - so not sure if would be do on vacation for reason 1 - recovery and soreness might not be good on vacation 2. finding a good place in a foriegn city would be a challenge 3. what to get as a tatoo ? mine would have to be small - and mean something ...

So my question - good idea or bad idea???? would you ?? Have you??? and what ya get

I have three but none have been gotta in the "Dam.
Might want to wait till you get home as they tend to itch.
I have an old one of a panther I got in 61,a Chinese ideograph that says yin/yang on left should that I got here in Az in 96 and one I designed that is a dragon eating it's tail w/the yin/yang symbol inside on my right shoulder that I got in 2008 in San Diego.

I second the Super Siver Haze from 420. It could be a bit strong for a newbie, though, but great for sparking the creativity. Amnesia Haze or NYCD from Hunters are also good choices. If you want a Sativa dominant strain that's not as strong I would suggest Bubblegum or Skunk, especially lemon Skunk from Green Place, if they have it. Ask the Budtender in each shop for there recommendations.

I agree with USBL. While there are many excellent tatt artists in Mokum, a tatt is a very permanent thing. Something you should really think about before having it done and it doesnt seem like you really know what you want yet, so I would say wait until you are sure. You will appreciate your ink more if it is something that you really really want. But when you do get inked, please post a pic of it here. :D

If you need a little inspiration, maybe this site can help you. Peace.
