Cars/Motorbikes

Post by Pauli Wallnuts »

What cars or bikes people on here driving,
heres my mint 99 200sx S14a, 2L Turbo, RWD of course & only 50k on the clock, gave it a wash tday & took some pics, its all original except for an uprated straight through Japspeed Sports exhaust (3inch diameter all the way to the turbo & catalytic converter removed) & a Japspeed induction kit, im not into all that boyracer bodykits, tinted windows & stuff, more into performance, this summer im hoping to install a front mount intercooler, better fuel pump, bigger injectors & stage 2 chip (270 - 290bhp @wheels)

Very nice
I drive a Mazda Miata Tenth Anniversary edition Numbered Model.#4423 0f 7500 .
6 speed convertible 1999, only has 80,000 miles as every time I have a seizure I can't drive for 90 days, so it gets to sit a lot.
Nothing has been added to it, stock, but is a hell of a car to drive, especially in the twisties
Can hardly wait to get it tuned up and take it to Cali so I can play on the PCH.
Old School and Proud of It.

My daily driver is nothing to write home about, but I do have a 1976 Corvette Stingray with less than 40k on the odometer. 454 engine with a Dana rear end, 4 speed mamual & cherry bomb exhaust. The interior is shit, but it has a great body with no rust. I'll post pics whem I make it home.

Peace,
Balou

@Twitch, very nice car man, in the uk their called mx5's, their proper fun cars to drive, over here alot of people put turbo kits on them, the top gear guys rated them aswell

@balou, f**k man, a stingray, seriously? thats a legend in its own rite, interior dont matter, not the hardest thing to refurb, do all the numbers match? must be worth quite a bit

The original engine is sitting in my cousin's garage, it needs major work. So I do have all the matching numbers, the 454 actually belongs to my great uncle. I plan to do a body off restoration in the next few years. I thought I had some pics on the lappy but I can't find them. I'll have to make a trip to the storage garage and snap a few.

Peace,
Balou

Don't drive cars, so my preferred mode of transport is my Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa...

Image

'99 unrestricted full power model. 0-60 in 2.4s... Top speed - in excess of 200mph - I have seen 196 on the clock, but I wasn't prepared to take her over the double ton because the traffic was starting to get a bit heavier, and my fuel guage was falling faster than an F16 on afterburner!

Ahh... good times....

Gixxer mate - she may be quick, but your two would run rings round mine on the twisties! :D

It is kinda fun feeling your eyeballs flatten with the sheer grunt of these things though. I don't think even the Boeing 737-500 that's taking me to Amsterdam next week gives me the same "kick-in-the-pants" acceleration as my Busa! (though to be fair, I'll probably have the same grin on my face!)
