Here is my view from the driver's seat. This was the steepest trail I've been on yet. Really tight too.

I dig that Trad. Looks like he's got a FJ40. My rig is more for family camping, but that looks fun.

Never would've guessed it. Those Samurais are pretty light so I'd imagine they make great crawlers. I've got an FJ60 and would love to have the diesel version BJ60, but they were never made for the States. Once in a while I'll see one. Most people take the diesel engine out of old Dodge (Cummins) bread delivery trucks.

time for a little tramp whoring :D

My Daily Drive/Championship spec car.

she started off like this

1989 200sx, original irish car
Rebuilt CA18DET
Colder plugs
Exedy clutch
xspower FMIC
Apexi cone filter (custom vent in headlight cover to feed it)
Cusco 2way diff
Nismo shocks and springs with adjustable top mounts
Full kakimoto exhaust from downpipe back (cat and midbox baffles removed)
Raceland drivers bucket seat with unbranded harness
Battery relocated to boot (standard battery replaced with heavy duty transit diesel battery)
17x7 RSGTs up front with 205/45/17s
17x8.5 Racing Heart 3piece split rims on rear with 215/45/17s
custom bootlid
Oil cooler and filter relocater kit

How she looked when i got her

then the drift days started

and after a bad day and i "little" fight with a tyre wall it looked like this

Image

[/img]http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b221/ ... 009002.jpg[/img]

so after a little head scratching and a smoke or two we figured the quickest and cheapest wat to straighten things out was

Image

then after a few more drift days i was well and truly bitten by the bug and i decided i would take the car off the road for a while and get it up to a better spec.

So the CA and running gear was pulled out and sold. i was playing around with a few ideas and one stage i was even considering putting a rotary in there just to have something a little different but in the end i decided i wanted some thing different and reliable, so went and bought a RB30DE block and bottom end to me matched up with a RB26DETT head running a single turbo conversion.

I picked up a 7 point rollcage of a friend of mine as she crashed her s13 and was buying a S14 to replace it.

Im about half way trough my build at the moment but the list of "to dos" gets longer every time i look. things like a new color and what wheels to run get a little stressful thinking about

il try keep this updated as i get things done

sorry if i got a little to technical for people there but i tend to get carried away and forget not everybody in the world is into cars[/img]

sounds crazy stecleary84, what blower u running, T4? & did u put the gearbox from a skyline in there aswell? imo an RB engine is better than a rotary, straight 6 is the most balanced setup, i dont have to tell u that though

my brother had a rotary engine back in the 90's..was an 87 or 88 cream rx-7. he loved that car...until he drove it into a ditch. i wouldn't mind getting an older rx-7 but the rotary is just to tricky to work with/use after like 60k miles.

really like your silvia pauli. fun to drive? if i pick up my infinity this year will post picks(just need to sab]ve up and find a place to store it/have it maintained for 2-4 years if i decide to go to uni abroad). looking at last gen preludes too. id love a mid 90;s supra but thats just a pipe dream. this kid i knew in hs had one...a twin turbo i think. he'd get that thing up to 150 on local roads...crazy kids.

@cantona, yeah its good fun, but im itching to up the power, hopefully in the summer, il get it up to 280- 300hp, just expensive to do properly, (front mount intercooler, uprated fuel pump, 555cc injectors, boost controller) at least ive started with the induction kit & exhaust

guy down the road from me has a twin turbo rotary rx7, it proper shifts, are they fibre glass bodies??? the sound in that vid is mad, sounds more like motorbike engine, what do them rotarys rev up to?
