Us stoner chicks are kickin ass & takin names, DaveS. Glad to see some of you will still make it. I'm supposed to leave Sunday the 25th but I'm flying standby, so it doesn't look good for me. I bet I'm stranded here for awhile, but what better place to be stranded in? Bad thing would be everything being booked during Queensday and I can't find a room

Dontcha just hate emails that start
Switched PC back on after having a quick cat nap to check messages etc, see what could possibly go wrong next, you know... the usual stuff, and there was this message from BMIBaby... After a tense, sphincter-puckering moment or two waiting for Firefox to load, there it was... they have cancelled a handful more flights on Thursday now, but mine is still ok...
They're telling people that if you have had your flight cancelled, you MUST contact the reservations number or you will not get a seat. It's not automatically guaranteed that you'll get on the next flight, it's all down then to availability, otherwise I'd have just about landed by now after getting off the 16.00 from BHX... Instead, I'm happy to be still going out on the 06.45 tomorrow morning...
I'll be sure to be checking throughout the evening, as I don't quite believe it yet, and when I leave my place at 23.15 tonight to get the last buses out to the airport, I probably won't be able to check as easily after that... I can't remember if there's free wi-fi at BHX to let me use my phone's browser to do my last-minute worrying or not...
Any news with your mate yet AP?

That looks like a nice sliver of clean airspace leading right into the 'Dam if you ask me.

Just trying my phone's browser to send this as I'm sitting at the airport at 03.15am, waiting for security 2 open up at 04.00am. Tried to get a bit of kip but the drunk homeless dude sat too close to me is a bit on the ripe side!
Fingers crossed - everything's still lookin good for my flight in 3 1/2 hrs time...
