Yes islandgurl, when I first arrived I went to coffeeshop 420 and it was empty, everyone was surprised to see me and I explained the flights were now working, but then all of a sudden the place started to fill up.

Easyjet are a bunch of fuckin wankers who offer no customer support, hang up on you when you are trying to get through to them, and their website just bypasses areas you need to get to so you can actually make headway!!!

It is almost as if Easyjet have the attitude that their customers will become so annoyed that they will just abandon trying to get a refund or a response, leaving Easyjet with profits that have essentially resulted from fraudulent business practice.

My booking was all fine for the 26th originally, flying from Gatwick to Schipol, but when I looked last the date had be automatically changed to the 27th!!! I amended it online back to the 26th because I have been on the phone solid trying to get them to pick up but with no joy.. I gave up and amended my flight (at a cost of £60+) to then after a day to receive this message on my easyjet account:

" Disrupted booking
One or more flights on this booking has been delayed or cancelled, entitling you to a free transfer to another flight. You may be also entitled to a refund, depending on the severity of the disruption (see Carriers Regulations for details).

To arrange your free transfer to an alternative flight, click 'Amend'.

If you are entitled to a refund or credit please contact Customer Services. If you do not wish to amend your booking then no further action is required. Your booking will remain unchanged".

The problem is, you cant get anywhere with anything or anyone! at this rate it looks like this trip isnt going to happen for me anymore. Eayjet just rip you off and offer no customer support... out of principle Im not going to use them again. Im a paying a customer I dont deserve to have someone speak to me and pretend im not on the phone more than once and then put the phone down! I know my phone is fine because have been using it fine speaking with others in the same seat!!!!

Complete fuckers the lot of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im glad you go on well with them.... for me it has been so really up and down and they keep providing or advertising conflicting information.... yet again I stress If you want to clarify any of this with them, you havent got a hope in hell!!

Anyway this latest update on my easyjet account is more positive:
Volcano Ash Disruption
We’d like to give all our customers maximum flexibility to manage their April travel plans following the widespread disruption after the cloud of volcanic ash closed European airspace for almost a week. We have therefore marked your flights to allow them to be transferred within a 30 day period from the original flight date.

If we have already notified you via email that your flight has been cancelled, or your flight is showing as “Cancelled” on our Flight Departures Checker, click “Amend booking” below to transfer onto a new flight.

If your flight is still operating and you’re happy with your current plans then you don’t need to do anything else and your booking will remain unchanged.

NB If your flight has to be cancelled, we will tell you about this separately with an email to your registered email address detailing the actual flights affected and your options. From 48 hours before your scheduled departure, please keep checking the status of your flight via the Latest Travel Information button on the easyJet.com homepage.
I havent had any email regarding any cancellations yet, but my last rant was to do with what was advertised through my easyjet account (which has now changed to the above information).... so maybe this could be a glimmer of hope after all! as nothing is syaying my flight is not going ahead now after all....... I guess only time will tell really.

Just bear in mind the volume of calls Easyjet are having to deal with at the moment. I know how frustrating it is but I'm sure the guys at the other end of the phone are trying their best.

Easyjet are crap period. They should replace their voice based menu system with a touch keypad based like everyone else. And sometimes when you do get past that if there are too many people queuing they just drop your call. Pain the arse.

Haha! Im not joking when i say they are crap. I appreciate and understand that its been tough for them to handle, but they are operating an important service, which means there are some things they need to get right... and what ever happened to customer service?? Im glad easyjet are being named and shamed on BBC1, maybe they will sit up and take note that they are shite. Everyone is fucked off with being hung up on, and getting red tape everywhere on their rubbish website!

Yeah cheers mate, me to. I think now is the waiting game to see what happens, but everything is more or less back to normal in the air space now, so shouldnt be any problems really. Apologies for ranting, but its a nightmare trying to book holiday where i work, and ive been really looking forward to getting away and chilling in the dam since breaking up with the ex recently.

I didn't even re book via sleazyjet I went with KLM. Worked out pretty much the same price in the end when you look at all the add ones for easyjet, luggage, then a train to the airports if you are trying to get to gatwick or stanstead from central.
