Mon. day ?

Post by Twitch »

Note: I FOUND SOME OF SAT. It wasn't really lost, just misplaced. Everything in Sundays report about Nes, meeting DC headache, Mcdonalds actually happened on Sat. Monday; I think my friends may be dead. Will smoke a bowl and think about it for awhile. Ahh, now I hear the sounds of gentle( :?: :?: ) femine snoring coming from one of the rooms so I know at least one other person is alive. While waiting to see if any one else is alive I mix some SuperMix w/last of Grey Area Crystals. Another beautiful morning in Amsterdam, sitting on the patio , smokin a bowl and drinkin coffee. Wife up. We decide to take the canal ride that stops at all the museums and lets you get off and then get back on another boat whenever. Went to Rijks, which is where some of the pics were taken. Spent about an hr. wandering around there. Bought wife a nice glass decoration that had all the painting done on the inside through a small hole. Real cool. Got on boat for next stop, but my back was starting to bother me so we got off at the Central Station stop. As we were walking up the stairs I had a severe back-spasm that literaly took me to my knees.Did some relaxation techniques to get musles to relax and walked ( limped ) back to apt. Instead of messing around w/our small pipe I rolled up a couple of phatties and smoked one after another. Helped alot, either pain went away or I didn't care. Have put a good dent in SuperMix ( almost gone) This is first day noone bought anything :!: Crashed real early.Night all, only a few more days then have to go back to reality until next year. :(

What are your impressions of the Rijksmuseum. Is it simply a large collection of artwork?

What's the canal boat like? I imagine the seating might be cramped if there are a lot of passengers but it does seem like a good way to get around town (especially good for photo opportunities I would think?)

That episode with the back must have been a real killer for you but at least you had the knowledge and the herb required to remedy the situation.

Does look a bit like this was probably the least enjoyable day of your holiday?

Museum

Museum is very cool. Has fantastic collection of old guns and armor and many other things not just art work. It is very large and could not possibly see it all in one day. I have visited every time I have been to the Dam and not been dissapointed. There are many types of canal boat rides, from romantic tours to smoking boats. Boats are never real crowded, just depends on type of tour, etc. Many great photo ops. also. You would prob. enjoy , should check it out, especially the Museum tour which allows you to get on and off at different locations and then get next ride to whereever. Being a tourist can be fun, believe it or not.
