Waste collectors in Amsterdam extend strike with a week
May 11 2010

The unions of the waste collectors have announced that the current strike in Amsterdam will last one more week.

Already, parts of Amsterdam have become very dirty, particularly in the centre of Amsterdam.

Originally, the strike was set to last until May 12, but the strike will now end on May 19.

This week there will be further talks about a labour agreement and wages.
