Yo so im traveling to England this summer for work again... and im saying fuck the Airlines... Ive heard mixed reports on the Euroline Bus from Amsterdam to London... and its either that or the Ferry...
So what do you guys think? Which one is gonna have the most hassle with customs or security and what not... since Im heading from the Netherlands to England...anyone have experiences with this?
cheers,

nothings guaranteed, but if travelling with the ferry, chances are you'l be fine, 1thing 2remember with the ferry customs are when you disembark in dover, with eurotunnel their before u leave france, so once your on that train your homefree
, but id prefer my chances with ferry, they'l be 150 odd vehicles converging on customs all in 1go, unlike eurotunnel where its a trickle, hope this helps

Eurolines through the tunnel STAY CLEAR ! i done it the other week and the only buss they pulled over for customs was ours (the dutch one) !? and they have dogs ! i got caught with a wee bag prob just a G that i never knew i had ! genuinely ! just got chucked in the bin !
Still had about a half of hash though !
so there are ways around it just if your prepared to do it !?
All in all though sure its a long journey but if your prepared with books, mags, dvd game system or such like !

seen as you have to drive through antwerp & brussels to get to calais if your thinking of bringing quite a bit with u it might be worth changing buses
might add an hour or so to your journey but by the sounds of things will up your success rate

Re: Summer trip to England
only easyjet's pier gets scanned,... use klm cityjet or ba into city airport (normally gates d2-20) and you'll be fine, normally I go for jeans in suitcase which is even easier on that route. I am of course only talking about very small amounts never go more than 10g (including plastic) into a UK airport.Pauli Wallnuts wrote:just cross your fingers u dont get scanned @schipolbigs wrote:If you're flying into London and dress smart then City is very very convinient...7/7 times its been fine...
