The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009).

this was a great film...terry gilliam makes his first triumphant movie since "Fear & Loathing"; reminding us why he is truly one of the most extraordinary artists of our time.

From the amazing special effects trailer I've seen, the latest film called Inception looks pretty damn good due to be released soon.

I saw " 24 hour party people " the other night.
Pretty interesting to me , but not sure i'd reccomend it.
Its about the rise of the Manchester music scene with the likes of New Order ( Joy Division ).

Watched Clash of the Titans this morning, thought it was quite good.
Watched the Losers yesterday, thought that was good anaw.

The boxset for The Wire just arrived today, so I'll be working my way through that over the next few weeks. Thats the great thing about not really watching things on TeeVee, boxsets kick ass.

Have you seen the original Clash? so much better.

Thought The Losers was alright.

I watched The A Team remake the other day which I thought was pretty good, I reckon people who haven't seen the tv show will enjoy it more, I also saw the Karate Kid remake which I thought was fucking terrible then I noticed the original on the tv on sunday so I watched that and felt better. ;)

Live Aid - 1. Against All Odds

Documentary which traces the story of Live Aid from its humble beginnings, a pop tune cobbled together in the back seat of a taxi, to the eve of the biggest televised event ever staged on both sides of the Atlantic.

Live Aid - 2. Rockin' All Over The World

Documentary telling the story of the day that music rocked the world. Bob Geldof recalls how, after 12 weeks of manic preparation, the big day finally arrived. But would it work, would the punters watch, and more importantly would they part with their cash?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... The_World/

Absolutely Superb..

Just watched it cisco! Great film with plenty of little nods to the original as well!

Make sure you keep watching through to the end of the credits though, there's an extra scene...
