I was there back in april, i can attest to the fact that the ribs are truly amazing, the best i have ever had i would say. Well worth the money.

Agreed, I'm a steak man but the Mrs convinced me to have the ribs in March and I was so glad I did, the waiter said the lamb shoulder is something else, maybe if I ever go back I'll give it a go.

Cafw de 'los get very busy , its a small place with maybe 5 or 6 table And a big bar that you can eat at too ( I always eat at the bar, I believe they open around 16:30 or 17:00, I recommend the reg. Ribs. Not the smoked one, the chicken is great too

Yeah it gets bust but we've always been able to get a table, last April there was 6 of us and we ended up pushing 2 tables together outside, one of the best meals/nights I've ever had as well.

I was going to post the same response... =)

I wasn't overly keen on the place, but it was pretty good. With the exception of the salty ribs ;)

I found De Klos by googling "best ribs in Amsterdam" and must admit I found the result a bit suspicious (overstatement) but the guy who wrote the review was from Texas, USA so I trusted his opinion when it comes to quality meat. Lots of it.

The place is really small but would lack the excellent athmosphere being any bigger. I have heard a few times about their poor service, but those people who complain don't understand sarcasm anyway so it would be pointless to explain. I enjoy their treatment and since I go for their meat not the good looking guys behind the bar it doesn't really matter

Their ribs are served without BBQ sauce. Why? Because it's not needed!! If you haven't been there yet do yourself a favour and have a go! Start with basic ribs. Build it up from there if you can :D

But nothing is perfect. Their salad comes with some pieces of celery which is only good for stirring morning drinks.

It has to be normal ribs! they are making my mouth water while writing this! They really are some of the best ribs in the world and im not normally a rib man (would get a steak usually) the smoked are like eating a ton of salty bacon and you have to pay an extra euro for the pleasure! (or lack of it)

I thought the food here was great. I didn't get the ribs, but the filet steak was very good. And that funky looking slaw was delicious, as well. The servers were funny, nice, and extremely efficient. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Ate her March 2011, I had the normol ribs and they were really good, well worth the trip. They were very busy so just sat at the bar as I was solo. The hype about this place is true!
