Day 3….Holland by rail part I America WTF these people are on drugs

OMG…..WTF…..America…WTF….these people are on drugs…and yet they kick our ass… PLEASE…Please…Pleeeese…let me be Dutch

We arrive at Central station to find three information officers two have what appear to be
Hand held devices…which allow him to bring up any schedule…and tells us which track to go to… Now don’t forget America he is doing this in a second langue …English…his uniform is perfect…crisp… his manner is totally friendly and polite… he said train would leave at 8:07… and at 8:07 am…whistle blew and away goes train…on time

OMG… I find myself loosing control….America what kind of self defecating Bullshit do we allow them to feed us in a pretty bowl with silver spoon. We use a System of measurement that puts us at a disadvantage all over the world because it’s not what the world useses…. Not to mention most Americans would never dream of speaking anything but American. (I myself speak Spanish…which I learned in school not fluent
But can read, write, and speak)….again America… I feel myself screaming…WTF…
These people are are on drugs….I wish I was Dutch.


Holland by rail part II

Like I said before we get an early start… on train by 8:07 am…and off to Bever-vik…I know I spell wrong… but that how I remember how to say correctly…I don’t know what I was thinking…I thought there’d be a map outside the train station… that says you are here…you know the kind like the mall… yeah not… so I just start to ask nicely…hey what do you know first person… stay to right go down to light turn right go under the train overpass cross street turn left at corner and you should be able to see the flags ….yep
Easy…really

It’s called the Black Market / Bazaar….anyone ever been to the swap shop in ft Lauderdale …It’s really very similar…. It cost Judy and I 3 euro …and we would have gladly paid that each…to get out of the cold….I did find two bargns.

We decide because of the rail pass to bring our Booty back to Hotel…Right on right-on right on… just an excuse to buy some weed…we get back to dam… I rum to giant eyeball…and buy my favorite White Widow / Cantaloupe Haze…I order my customary 8 grams for 40 euro…Bud Tender gives me a pack of papers and more of those filter things
(My friends back home are going ape shit for those booklets…I wish I had known this before I buy all those T-shirts)

Back to room for a quick snack…and coffee…and smoke…then off we go …Part III.

Off to the world Famous Keukenhof… Judy says it’s the second most photograph place on earth…we travel south to Leiden thru the Tulip fields. OMG if you are a total nut case about color like me words just cant describe the color…that zooms by at 90 miles an hour…might as well be… Judy got a good laugh at me…acting like a kid at Christmas and you’ve just come upon a whole street of houses decorated in lights…yeah that’s how I felt… truly beautiful…I wish I could be down among the color…

At the Leiden Station don’t buy the ticket in side the station…wrong ones…the right place to buy tickets are outside in a separate office to to right and follow around to connexion ticket office…don’t bother to go to the buss…they will send you to office.

After a beautiful ride… I almost wish I was on a bicycle…key word here almost …we arrive only to find about 500 hundred people in line for bathroom…300 hundred in line for bathroom…we just keep wondering around to thru right…looking …working for that great shot…that POST CARD…shot…I got several that I consider priceless…I’m seeing …sensing…smelling…textures…flowers …trees…all that a girl from the south inset used to……no to mention the temperature had dropped again as the drizzles start….We take about 45 minutes worth of still photos… worth another trip…at a another time…hopefully never on a Saturday….

We say….We better get in the going home line before everyone else gets the same idea, at the same time…..Ha too late for them… We get in a line of about 100 people..Ok I think we will probly be in the next buss…No we are cramed into the buss with about 50
More…..ok….whatever…just keep my space around me….a no touching me zone….hey
Your touching me…your touching me…well whatever in 15 minutes we are back at Lieden and jump back on train…..I don’t think I mentioned before that the train is clean…actually spotless…windows clear and perfect for taking pictures…in some cities in the states…they have to clean the graffiti off so much that it actually scratches windows….I promise not to loose control…but it is so hard to accept our sub standard systems, being touted as advanced.

Since Its cold and rainy we forgo going to Haarlen for the end of the Bloemin Corso…maybe next year…

When we go back to hotel for coffee… I find out the time is only five o’clock…
I thought it was much later then that… but because its been grey all day it throws off my inner clock.


Part IV Here Bresties

After fortification we wonder over to Zeedijk….for china town….the temple…down to Niewmarkt, and around oder kerk, looking for the bronze Brest, that are somewhere near
The church on the ground…..ok not tonight….however what we do see….is a sign that says Tapas…( I did not realize that we were right in front of the wag…I read that the wag has thousands of candles burning at night for light…anyone know if that’s true….I’d really like to know for the next time….) we ordered 3 of the tapas and had more than enough for Judy and my self, for a quick bite… we are full… and need to walk around…
It is still light out when we leave… so around we go … still no bresties…here bresties…here bresties…I don’t know why I’m fixacated… well yes I do…I love
Cleavage…we wonder around the Red Light Dist make the circle back down hodstr to dam sq down Damrik to the cut thru by 420….and past the coffee shop Betty Boop

I had read somewhere that Betty Boop is a gay shop…hey I’m a gay…in need of a shop…perfect…..No the Vibe is off right off the bat… should be gay….but is full of straight guys…Bud tender is gay…a good looking black woman with close cropped hair, killer body and bubble butt……killer body bubble butt…ok now we see why place is full
Of horn dogs….come on guys she’s the boy… anyway I want to buy something special hash… I get the blue iceolator for 20 euro a gram and I gram of red hair hash for 12 euro
I don’t know if bait and switch was pulled… but both grams should have looked somewhat the same in size…NOT…well bottom line I should have looked before leave shop…This dose leave a bad taste in my mouth, regarding the integrity of shop… I wont be back… too bad like I said I’m gay… and it was embarrassing to me as gay person…have another gay person rip them off….also giving gay people bad name.

I forgot to tell you about …Heaven… its a little pastry shop across from the 420… OMG…there is this choc cake lil piece o heaven…yummi
Back to room set up movie on DVD…smoke…..smoke……smoke

Fortunatly i've never had a whitey in Amsterdam, i've come close a couple of times but always held it together.

I wouldn't take the gay issue to seriously. Did Miss Black Amsterdam know that you were gay? She probably didn't care as it is well known that some shops are basic rip off joints (especially where tourists are concerned). Don't tell me, she came over all friendly to reel you in and then hit you with the sucker punch?

I've been there many a time and it's not a nice feeling.

I don't think it gives gays a bad name. That's like going to another shop and being ripped off then saying that it gives straights a bad name.

I'm as straight as they come and I don't mind if people prefer to think that God created Adam and Steve.

I think what gives gays a bad name (especially guys) is they have a distinct personality and way of talking which sets them apart as a minority. It's like they have to let everyone know every minute of every day that they are as bent as bananas. I wish they wouldn't be so flamboyant all the time then maybe they wouldn't be victimised so much.

Still another magnificent piece of reporting there, just a shame that it ended kinda badly.
