Another trip to AMS from 26/07 to 01/08

Post by miguel »

Hi all,
I planned my 12th trip to Holland for this summer.
I'll arrive on 26th of July at Weeze Airport, then I come to Amsterdam for 6 night and finally I'll go for 3 days to Prague.
In your opinion what is the best way to go from Weeze to Amsterdam?
I saw that there is a bus service (airexpressbus) that leave in the afternoon and it cost € 35 , another service is a taxi to Arnhem or Nijmegen for € 16-18 and then a train to Amsterdam (also € 16-17) and with that I can leave the airport in the morning (I'll arrive at 10:00 a.m.)
All that services ask for a reservation on their site.... I can't find them directly in the airport? I must make a reservation?
My idea it's to arrive at the airport and try to find 2-3 people that rent a car and go to holland, then I'll pay them some euros for a transfer.... it's insane?
If I can find this I want to take a taxi and go to Arnhem or Nijmegen for a maximum cost of € 35-40, there are taxi staying in the airport?

With both services I'll arrive near the central station and then I have to the hotel near vondelpark (I can take tram n. 2 from Central Station) but I want to have a stop in a CS before arriving in the hotel... any advice?
I'm thinking about this options:
- walk from central station to Warmoestraat, stop in a CS ex Hunters and then walk another time to central station to catch the tram
- walk from central station to Barney's or Dampkring and then walk to central station to catch the tram
- catch the tram from central station, stop at Nieuwezijds Kolk, go to HGF or Abraxas and then retake the tram in the same stop or in Dam. (or I can do the same thing near Leidseplein area and go to Dolphin for example)

What do you think is the best option?

See you in Amsterdam!!!!!

Hi found a taxi for 16€ for Nijmegen, than we'll stop to a CS like 't wonder for a little relaxing break.
Than we'll catch a train to Amsterdam.
I'm not sure what we'll be my first stop in Amsterdam... but for sure I'll go where in ten years of travel I founded the best quality, service, nice place:

Amnesia, Greenhouse, Basjoe, Bagheera, Hunter, The Dolphin, Dampkring, Katsu, Grey Area, HGF, Noon, MY, Yo-Yo, Club Media, Bluebird, Abraxas, Green Place, Kandinsky, Paradox, etc...

Hi guys,
planning my trip and thinking about buying some good ice-o-lator.
I'm alone with my gf that doesn't like iceolator so much so I don't want to buy 1g for example of terminator (tested two times) but sample of 0.2, 0.4g of different kinds.
I found something interesting but I want your advice

Amnesia: sell bags of minimun 5€ so I can try a joint of one of their ice-o-lator
Bagheera: I saw in Blueberry video that sells an ice-o-lator made from their kasey jones (0.2g 12€)
Katsu: their crystal clear isolator
La Tertulia: last year I tried their bubble ice-o-lator, not bad but not so special

Any advice on these strains or other from other cs is useful and welcome.

Far as I can tell, Paradox sells some of the cheapest ice-o-lator in town at 0.8g for €12. That breaks down to €15/g.

Next is Green House which has gotten several positive reviews. It runs €18/g.

You can always find excellent ice-o-lator at Bushdoctor but expect to pay a lot!

I happen to be a BIG fan of the Katsu's Crystal Clear but they doubled their price recently so that it costs €20 for 0.4g!!
