:D
Hiya guys
I dont know how to ask this without sounding like a complete pot freak :?
so forgive the intro wont you lol :D

I've been smoking weed for 16 years now. I've studied its history and hae always stated that if my soon to be step brother starts showing an interest in it, that i would take him aside and teach him what I know, as i dont want him learning the wrong thing an that.

I've been know for my hash sesions for years (always through a good sesh) lol But now my soon to be step bro has turned 14 as is asking me about it. He says he's already smoked it (which I do believe)

I'd rather be the 1 he smokes it with, u know, so I know he's in safe hands. I know there's not a lot that can go wrong with weed but all the same, Its better to be safe than sorry right.

I'd like to know
Should I set up a sesh to show him the ropes now?
Is he too young?
Has anyone else been in this situation and how did you handle it?

Are there any sort of hash rituals for welcoming a new smoker into the sesh?

I've thought of takeing him camping and showing him the ropes that way, You know Lads round the camp fie getting stoned watchin the red flares of the fire riding up into th sky. Havin a good laugh.

What do you guys recon????

roll me a joint for the morning:-)

Hey there, thats a really good question and everyone will have something interesting to say about it, could be a good debate. I think you should definitely tell him what the score is, even though 14 is young, kids are definitely trying things earlier nowadays and there will be no harm in teaching him the right and wrongs. I tried it when I was fifteen and didn't really like it so I didn't start smoking properly until I went to Jamaica five years ago. I couldn't even roll up out there so didn't appreciate it then as I do now when I go the places like Amsterdam. With the summer coming along it could be nice to go camping, then you could introduce it to him properly that way he'll always have a good memory of when he first tried it. This way he might associate smoking with going away somewhere rather getting into a routine of smoking everyday, which if were honest isn't really right for a 14 year old. You have to enjoy it still rather than smoking for the sake of it. I'm at uni in Liverpool(got to beat chelsea tonight) and you see the 13/14 year old kids standing outside the youth magistrates court smoking spliffs before they go into their hearing, not only do you think they are little pricks but what a waste of weed too because they haven't got a clue what they are doing and how to appreciate it. I think your step bro will be fine with you looking over him, not to sure about rituals but if he ends up at one of your sessions then maybe he won't ever want to smoke again. If you change your mind and don't want him to start then feed him a hash cake with about a q in, he will be ill for about half a day but then won't ever want to touch the stuff again (ask my mum! lol). Gooduck anyway dude. :D

From my experience, I never smoked tobacco before I began smoking joints of hash mixed with tobacco. 25 years later I have finally broken my nicotine addiction. I have never regretted discovering cannabis but I deeply regret all of those years enslaved by tobacco.
So, I would say, by all means introduce him to cannabis but try to persuade him to avoid tobacco or, better still, use a vapouriser.

/\ yep, that is a great idea.

I do think 14 is still young, really too young IMO, but if he's already doin it now is the time to teach him the proper way to conduct ones self.
Try to explain to him that weed is great and will not ruin your life, BUT if you start smoking a ton at that age it WILL have an effect on the REST OF HIS LIFE.

thanks for you replies guys. :D
i think 14 is a bit to young to start smoking it too, but he's already started :(
If I am going to do this them spliffs with tobbacoo are definetly out of the picture. I thought, maybe bongs, pipes, chillums water falls, lungs or white rabits might be the way to go or maybe just a pure spliff, but i think as he is till young, this might harm him as he's still only a growing boy.

I thought of some kind of ritual (nothing over the top) to show him that its not an everyday thing to do. alll the rituals I know (1 we call the alter(buckets)as you have to kneel over the bucket and go down as if you are praying) might hit him a bit too hard.
i had 6 pure bukets the 1st time and they almost knocked me out lol.

What would u guys do?
roll me a joint for the morning:-)

hello,

you know i have a little sister (22 now i'm 28) and when she was 15 she would like to taste marijuana, so i tell her she has to wait a good one , and promise she will taste it with me and some of my friends who are hash smokers for long time now..
I will always remember this night when she smoke her first joint with me . We was on holidays into a cool quiet place ( near the see in L'ile D'Yeu) under the stars we have rolled a great afghan hash joint and tell she all she have to know (roll, turn and so on) ..

After i explain she how to check good stuff and bad one , taking a bong (with one of my friends who is a 15 years of pratice specialist ;)) ).. And for now ,not like me , she take only 3/4 bongs a days of pure hash, and one or 2 cigarettes sometimes.. and she pratice smoke better than me.

I've discoover hash late after tobacco (at 17), and i've made excess , it wasn't no more an art of life but an industry , always smoking all days.. So i have a break reserving my smoke with my friends and making some trips in Dam since one year now.. I like "marie jeanne" now more and more and appreciate it like a good wine .. But it was hard. My sister better deal with ot i know i guess she will never exess and pratice it like an art of life not a compulsive attitude..

I agree with Lem.. if i can no more being addicted to tobbaco (except cigars i ilke a lot ;)) ) and control my marijuana consomation i'll be happy .. That one of my goal..
And i guess taht beginning with the good people is important, the ritual too , which made each smoke unique.

Well sorry for bad english..

Have nice smokes ;))
