Of course we have :D

And don't listen to USBL. He's only interested in strains that will literally murder you...and possibly the rest of your family, as well ;)

My example was from Grey Area and was perfect, IMO. It was my favorite of the haze crosses for the entire trip. Taste was like a slighty burnt brownie and the effects were very up/lucid and happy. It's a wonderful, social strain, IMO. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

I have to say, I only bought a gram from mellow yellow for the taste, which is always really fun. I agree that it is not stand-out in terms of strength or effect, but it has a pleasant, balanced, high. We only smoked one bowl of it at the dinner, then we mixed the second half of it in a big joint of Vanilla Kush, where it added a lovely flavor.

Thanks, Bong, btw for the heads-up on the Vanilla Kush. Yum and wonderful. I can't wait to see how my own turns out.

I was disappointed as well, had some from grey area and coffeeshop 137. I had hoped it would be similar to the chocolate thai I used to get in the early 90's. Not even close. Tasty, but I found the high to be unremarkable.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly?

It's just one of those strains that are good for the flavour rather than the high, there's a lot of them.

I'm a fan of flavoursome strains over strength and Chocolope hits the spot but only when it's grown/dried/cured properly which sadly Amsterdam doesn't do anywhere near enough, the first time I had it the flavour was pretty amazing, sadly I haven't found it anywhere near as good since (the best I had came from GA).

This is the main gripe i have with amsterdam, a lot of the time buds seem over-cured, or just too dry/old and devoid of any significant flavour. Last visit there were only a few strains that you could smell halfway across the room when the dealer opened the tub, one of them was so gouda.

I dont think over cured is a problem, not flushed properly, quick dried and lack of cure are the main problems, there are a few shops that are better than others but even the better shops can be guilty of putting inferior products out.

Yeah i guess over cure isn't a bad thing, flash drying though and curing in plastic bags as i've heard some (green)places do.

I'm sure a fair amount of people that visit coffeeshops wouldn't realise if stuff wasn't flushed properly or quick dried, so therefore it continues.
