You ever heard of emulators?

They are basically programs which, when run, allow your computer to "behave" like another machine (could be a computer or a games console)

The game files are known as rom or iso files (don't ask me what iso stands for as I don't know)

There are sites where you can pay a subscription fee in order to gain access to rom/iso files which can then be downloaded to your PC and used with an appropriate emulator program.

For Sony Playstation, the only game file sites that I have found are these bit torrent sites that seem to be cropping up everywhere (mainly for movie downloads) and some of them require full access to your PC which obviously leaves you wide open to virus threats and other sorts of unsavoury stuff.

Also the download speeds often leave a lot to be desired (3kb a second on a broadband connection? Nay, nay and thrice nay.)

In conclusion, I was keen to know if anyone knew of, or used, any of these bit torrent sites and found them to be safe, reliable and with good download speeds too.

If you wanna use bittorrent download µtorrent.

µTorrent is programmed in C++ and comes as a single exe file. Download speeds are great, It runs on router ports of your choice and is safe as houses. Disclaimer...dont quote me on that safe bit but I reckon its a pretty cool tool. Use it all the time myself

Download Here >http://download.utorrent.com/1.5/uTorre ... nstall.exe
You missed it right?

I currently have that one installed but wasn't getting much joy although my understanding of how these things work is as low as a snake's belly.

i love BitTorrent!!!
i use Azureus, and have never had any probs with virsus or other security issues. Also speeds are great but really rely on what the other people have connection-wise.
