Hasj Dreamer in town Now!

Post by HasjDreamer »

The wife and I are chillaxin' outside betty's, smoking a fat ass hasj ciggy in the sun! The weather is perfect, we've been scootering about town high and love the neighborhood!

Some highlites include de graal coffeeshop, a tv appearance with Dutch cheerleaders!!!, Vondelpark and more!

Have to get the apartment Internet up and running.

More to come!

HOLLAND Kicked Danish ass!

Just finished watching the game at de graal toking on super cheap super cheese at a mere 5 euro for a half gram that was bigger than some full g's in the centrum.

Lots of cheering, lots of vu vu zella noise!

I've been sporting my dutch national hockey shirt so eveyone thinks i'm a local... Too much frickn' fun!

Hasj Dreamer: Day one, Sunday June 13th

We arrive wicked early, like before six am and head into town. Now this trip would open with one bizzar day... The wife takes nightly meds that kinda knock her out and, unfortunately she took them too late during the flight and was still sleeping when the plane touched down! Needless to say, she was disoriented as all hell and after searching for an open shop at seven am on Sunday was no easy task. We settled on, of all places...

The Bull Dog!!!

Now, I'll admit i was reluctant but the wife couldn't walk another step. Oh yeah, it was the BD next to Doors...

Since we haven't stepped inside a BD since the mid nineties our expectations were pretty low and as a result we were pleasantly surprised!

The bad?

No free papers, only tabs (wtf?) but papers and lighters were pretty cheap and available in a vending machine. Plus we now have to waive around bullshit BD papers and lighter at other shops!

Lots of kid pot tourists... I mean LOTS! At 7:30 it was pretty popular with the young crowd.

The good?

Well, the fact that that's all the bad i got is a start!

The hasj... Super polm, I believe and at 12 euro a gram the price was inflated but not too badly especially since it was clean, tasty and quite potent!

The staff... Nice guy, better than Barney's that early in the morning.

Good coffee.

My poor wife couldn't make it past a toke and didn't take a sip. She had to lay down and we were like seven hours away from check in at the other side of town! Crashing fast we found a cheap and clean hostel with a private bed and she vomited and slept (repeat!).

The sun was shining and my wife did NOT want me hovering so I was forced to hit the Dam lone and occupy a couple of hours by myself...what's a boy to do?

Leaving de graal now for something sweet and heading back to the apartment now...

Good night from Amsterdam!

Thanks for the kind words... The wife is fine and recovered by six Sunday evening! All systems go...

So it's Sunday morning around before nine or so and I head into the Dam for what would be, oddly enough in ten trips, my first real solo outting. With my poor wife passed out and finally able to start the recovery process I head around the corner to catch up with my pal at Betty's. They're not open yet but my buddy is hangin outside and gives me grief about wanting the o j. "You're going to make me work on a Sunday morning? Busting my chops... It's good to be back!

We chat for a good two hours as he keeps turning away newly arriving tourists "we're closed" even way past opening as he nursed his hang over from the night before. It's one of those moments I'll cherish...normal, friendly non touristy conversation sitting in the sun, sipping fresh oj and smoking some great morning hasj. I felt guilty briefly but new my gal needed to sleep it off and I had a taste of what my life would be like living there. We certainly wouldn't be together all the time now would we?

I pick up some Bettys Haze for 12 euro a gram and it provides a good few tolks for my wife back at the hostel.

About the hostel, Zelder was in the name and at 60 euros and ready for my
wife in ten minutes by 8:30 was awesome... Throw in a clean ass private room and "you can smoke, just open the window"!

... Lunch time here in the dam, thanks again...my happy, healthy eife says thanks too!
